Job description
1. Provide Technical Support and Troubleshooting
- Assist employees with computer hardware and software issues, ensuring prompt
resolution.
2. Vendor Management
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment warranty issues and handle
internet-related problems.
3. Collaboration with Building Engineers
- Work with building engineers to resolve electrical and office air conditioning
issues affecting IT systems.
4. Employee Onboarding
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees by preparing computers,
creating accounts, installing operating systems, providing user manuals, and handing over
equipment.
5. Employee Offboarding
- Oversee the offboarding process, including equipment checks, asset recovery, data
backup, data deletion, and account deactivation.
6. Device Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance, including repairing and replacing hardware as
needed.
7. Equipment Purchasing and Budget Planning
- Plan and manage quarterly equipment purchases and create an annual IT budget.
8. Asset Management Procedures
- Establish and manage procedures for buying, selling, and liquidating corporate
assets
9. Corporate Equipment Management
- Maintain and track all corporate equipment, ensuring accurate records for asset
management.
10. Manage Video Conferencing
Facilitate video conference connections between the VN and JP offices, ensuring
seamless communication.
Job Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
● 2+ years of experience in a comprehensive IT role.
● Strong knowledge of providing technical support and troubleshooting (Windows,
Mac, Ubuntu, software)
● Deep understanding of operating systems, current equipment and technologies,
enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring
tools
● Proficiency in operating systems, and office software.
● Familiarity with Active Directory or LDAP, and backup/recovery solutions.
● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
● Experience in vendor management and technical documentation.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Ability to handle Help Desk and Technical Support operations.
Preferred Requirements
Having any of the following requirements is a plus:
● Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft).
● Proficiency in English
● Being able to join soon would be preferable
Working Conditions:
● Full-time position, with occasional need for overtime during critical issues or
system upgrades.
● On-site presence is required with flexibility for remote support as needed.
