PTE Preparation Timetable

Month-long timetable for achieving 70+ in each module

Week 1-2: Foundation and Familiarization

Focus: Understand the format of each module and build basic skills.

Day 1-7: Speaking & Writing

- Speaking (1 hour): Practice Read Aloud, Repeat Sentence, and Describe Image daily.

Aim for 10 questions of each type.

- Writing (1 hour): Practice Summarize Written Text and Essay Writing.

Write one essay and summarize one text every day.

Time: 2 hours/day

Day 8-14: Listening

- Listening (1 hour): Focus on Summarize Spoken Text, Fill in the Blanks, and Multiple Choice

questions.

Do 15 questions each of these.

- Speaking & Writing Review (1 hour): Revise the practice from Week 1 and 2.

Time: 2 hours/day

Week 3: Advanced Practice

Focus: Improve speed, accuracy, and approach to tricky questions.

Day 15-21: Speaking, Writing, and Listening


- Speaking (45 minutes): Practice Repeat Sentence, Describe Image, and Answer Short Questions.

Do 15 questions each.

- Writing (45 minutes): Write 3-4 Summarized Written Texts and 2 essays.

- Listening (1 hour): Focus on Listen and Select Missing Word and Summarize Spoken Text.

Do 20 questions of each.

Time: 2 hours 30 minutes/day

Week 4: Full Mock Tests and Final Refinement

Focus: Simulate real exam conditions and work on timing, accuracy, and weaknesses.

Day 22-28: Mock Tests & Review

- Full Mock Test (2.5 hours): Take full-length practice tests every 2nd day.

Mimic actual exam timing. Break down each section: Speaking (30 mins), Listening (45 mins),

Reading (45 mins), Writing (45 mins).

- Focused Review (1 hour): Work on difficult sections from previous tests.

Time: 3.5 hours/day

Additional Tips:

1. Weekly Reviews (Sundays): Dedicate Sundays to reviewing all sections and identifying areas for

improvement.

2. Daily Vocabulary Practice: Spend 10-15 minutes a day learning new words and phrases.

3. Time Management: Practice with timers to improve speed, especially for listening and reading

sections.

Number of Questions:

- Speaking: Aim for 10-15 questions each day.


- Writing: Write 1-2 essays and 1-2 summaries daily.

- Listening: Do 20-25 questions per day.

- Reading: Do 15-20 questions daily.
