Venue: NICMAR University, Pune

Conference Conveyor:
Dr. Sushma Kulkarni

CEMCON is a marquee event in Western India, organized by the Indian Concrete Institute,
Pune Centre. The event marked its Silver Jubilee in December 2020 and over the years it has
provided the platform for innovation, knowledge-sharing, and advancements in concrete
technology. Over the years, CEMCON has addressed diverse topics such as High-Rise
Concrete Buildings and Structures, Precast Concrete, Modern Trends in Construction
Technology, Advances in Material Testing, Instrumentation, and IT in the Monitoring of
Concrete Structures.

Entering its 30th year in 2025, CEMCON will focus on Special Concretes: Innovation,
Challenges, and Case Studies. The conference aims to spotlight lesser-used special concrete
types that hold immense potential for broader applications in the near future, driving progress
in the construction industry.

About the Indian Concrete Institute, Pune Centre

The Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) Pune chapter plays an important role in promoting the latest
advancements in concrete construction. Established in 1982, with its main ofce in Chennai,
the Institute has been organizing national-level conferences for several years, focusing on
industry-relevant topics. These conferences allow professionals, researchers and
academicians in the concrete industry to share experiences, exchange ideas and stay updated
with new developments in concrete technology.
