So now, we are going to talk about one of the factors that affecting the junior high

school in choosing their senior high school strand.

Palbrica and Felorino (2023) define that "The career tracks and options available to SHS
students and enhance the understanding of career decision-making, which could lead to
meaningful outcomes for future K-12 graduates." Because they explore the various
career tracks and options accessible to Senior High School (SHS) students, aiming to
deepen their understanding of the career decision-making process.

Now, in our Research Design we uses a correlational research design to examine the
factors influencing high school students' decisions in choosing a strand for senior high
school. Conducted in a private school in Caloocan City during the 2024 academic year,
the research explores the relationship between various determinants, such as personal
interests, parental influence, and career aspirations, without manipulating any variables.
This approach aims to provide insights into how these factors shape students' decision-
making processes
