Honorable Sir,
Most respectfully, it is to state that we are going to celebrate a
sport Day in the college. We request you to preside over the function.
Sir, you know that sports are also a part of education. Now even the
government has announced such activities as co-curricular activities
instead of extra-curricular activities. It is a famous maxim that a healthy
body has a sound mind. No one can deny the importance of such
activities.
Nowadays, our young men are falling prey to various evils. When
they find no positive activity to display their skills, they get involved in
evils. Sports provide them with opportunities to demonstrate their
superior qualities in a positive way. Your participation in the ceremony
as a chief guest would be an encouragement to the players and the
athletes. We hope that you will honour us with you presence.
