② Re-Calibration

- For Elec.indicator & Monitor

1) Disconnect the copper line from the Purge head.

2) If the gauge is indicating above or below 'Dead Zone', set the P/I Converter by adjusting the zero
hole.(zero setting)
3) After carrying out zero setting, connect the copper line to the Purge head.
4) Since then, compare with the actual sounding level(volume) on even keel and over 70% of tank
ballasting condition.
5) If the gauge is not showing correct level even after zero setting, it needs to do span setting.

- For Pneu.Indicator

1) Disconnect the copper line from the Purge head.

2) If the gauge is indicating above or below 'Dead Zone', turn the adjusting hole on the gauge by
using the screw driver. Since then, compare with the actual sounding level(volume) on even keel
condition.

③ Air leakage

- Copper line
1) Block the copper line after disconnecting it from the Purge head.
2) And then gauge's indication value will increase(above gauge FULL) if there is no air leakage.

- PURGE HEAD
1) Block the Purge head bottom after disconnecting the flange.
[ If there is a isolating valve( picture #1 ), just close the valve. ]
2) And then gague's indication value will increase (above gauge Full) if there is no air leakage.

④ Trouble Shooting per each equipment

- Air supply unit(Indicator's value should show 4kg/cm2)

1) In case of pressure value in the indicator is not showing 4kg/cm2,

2 - Checking the inlet side instrument air(6 ~7kg/cm) is well
comming or not.
1
- If 6~7kg/cm2 air is well comming from compressor, please try
to adjust the pressure value as below.
-> Open the V/V -> Lift up the cap ->
-> Turn to the cap to adjust the pressure value. ( 4kg/cm2)

2) In case of drain bowl is filled with liquid, please carry out drain it.

- Constant Flow Regulator

When the flow regulator is not properly working, it is necessary to check the adjust valve which is
closed or not.
In case of flow rate is too low, level always shows deadzone(zero) even if actual tank is full condition.
In case of flow rate is too high, level will be hunting or higher level showing than actual level.

Method of adjustment.
1) If you turn on the valve clockwise, valve will be shunt.
2) If you turn on the valve anti-clockwise, valve will be open and air is well flowing.
3) You are necessary to find the proper air flow rate in the vessel, and we recommend the flow rate is
abt 1000~ 1500cc/min.

Anti-clockwise Clockwise
2000cc/min 1500cc/min 1000cc/min Full shunt.

⑤ Other parts
1) Elec. indicator (If it is installed on the vessel, check below statement)

It is not matched with actual level despite carried out

zero setting.

A. Measure current, it should be measured 4mA.

B. And also, it should be displayed dead zone level.

C. If it is not displayed dead zone level,

the indicator is not normal condition.

2) Digital indicator (If it is installed on the vessel, check below statement)

It is not matched with actual level despite carried

out zero setting.

A. Measure current (Channel 15~16), it should be

measured 4mA.

B. And also, it should be displayed dead zone level.

C. If it is not displayed dead zone level, inform us

for result.

3) Signal Isolator (If it is installed on the vessel, check below statement)

A. It should be same between input voltage

(current) with output voltage (current)
(2 channels)

B. Measure voltage(current), if it is not same

result, it is not normal condition.

4) IS barrier (If it is installed on the vessel, check below statement)

A. It should be same between input voltage

(current) (2 channels) with output voltage
(current) (2 channels)

B. Measure voltage(current), if it is not same

result, it is not normal condition.

5) AMS interface

A. If the vessel has no our gauging system (Such as, our indicator and our computer)

B. Our sensor is transmitted current to AMS system.

C. If our sensor and other parts are normal working, it needs to check setting value on AMS.
