Introduction
Adobe photoshop is one of the best popular graphics(image) designing
package(GDP) developed by Adobe corporation USA. Sometimes it is also used for
desktop designing words with the help of the program you can create modify your
own design with different color management, different effect features, which can
ensure that you can get accurate color reproduction from scanning through
printing and when sharing graphics across different platform and system.

Marquee tool(M)
The marquee tool offer four different formats rectangle, elliptical, single row and
column. Each format is used to select area of an image. As you click and drag
boundry of the selection will appear as moving dashed link.
Rectangle marquee tool
It is used to select an entire image or a part opf an image in rectangular shape.
Elliptical marquee tool
It is used to select a part of an image in elliptical shape.
Single row and column maquee tool
It is used to select a single romw and column with 1 pixel width.
Note: You can define required feature value before selecting with these tools.
Move Tool
This tool is used to move an entire image with or without selection between
different images. Also it is used to move a part of an image with selection within
an image or between different image.
Note: If you want to copy the portion of an image with same image file then don't
forget to hold Alt key while drgging.
Lasso Tool(L)
The lasso offer a different types of tool. Polygon Lasso and magnetic lasso. It is
used to select an area of an image by drawing and outline on it.
Lasso tool is used for freeform selection with move button.
Polygonal lasso tool is used for freeform selection defining required needs.
Magnetic lasso tool is used for totally freeform selection.
Magnetic Wand Tool(W)
This tool is one of yhe very important selection tool among other. The magic
wand tool select an area of an image based on it color. By adjusting the tolerance
range of your selection. You can control now large an area will be selected.
Crop Tool(C)
This tool is used to crop an image in selected area of image.
Slice Tool(K)
This option iss used to create a slice, which can be used to hyperlink
with required webpages. You can create user slice with the slice tool from a
selection or from guides. you can select slice with the slice select tool in order to
apply moodification to it. In photoshop save for web dialoog you can select
mulltiple slices.
Process
First define required slice using slice tool.
Right click on just created slice.
Click on edit slice option.(Then slice option dialog box appeared)
Give required slice name.
Type webpage address at URL box.
Give required tag (Massage that appears while touching with mouse) at Alt
tagbox.
Click on OK.
Go to nfiole menu.
Give required file name under the designed location.
Click on save.
Patch Tool(I)
The patch tool lets you repair a selected area with pixels from another area
or a pattern. You can also use line patch tool to clone osolated areas of an image.
Using the Healing Brush Tool
The healing brush lets you correct impertetion, causing them to disappear into
the surrounding image. It is used o healing brush tool to paint with sample pixels
from an imaage of patttern.
Brushtool(B)
The brush tool is used to apply color in uniform width with either soft or
hard edges. The brush tool is useful for image editing, blending color and creating
special effect.
