Events & Age of :: The Tournament will be organised in following age groups. Players having the
Eligibility specified eligibility date of birth with BAI ID numbers are eligible.

In case of Masters Nationals, the Member Association shall be entitled

Entries :: 22nd February 2023
Closing Date The Entries shall be received by BAI as per the existing system with a copy to
Org. Secretary. The entries are to be received through Affiliated Units only at
entry@badmintonindia.org (Direct entries from the Players will not be accepted)
Doubles Entries :: States forwarding names for Doubles partnering player from different States
should have NOC or otherwise names of same pair should come from both the
States failing which the entry will not be considered.
Entry Fees :: The entry fee for qualifying shall be as follows.
Singles events of all categories -- Rs. 1000/- per player
Doubles events of all categories-- Rs. 2000/- per pair
Mode of :: All matches in Main draw shall be played on best of three games of 21 points in
Competition rally point system. However, if need be, the Referee in consultation with
Organising Committee, Chairman, Tournament Committee and Convenor,
Tournament Committee may conduct matches in best of three games of 15 points
each with extension up to 21 points.
Regulations :: The BAI Competition Regulations and General Competition Regulations shall be
applicable.
In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Tournament Referee will be final.
Clothing :: Players must comply with General Competition Regulations.

M&Q :: M&Q List List will be published on 1st March 2023
The list of participants in order of strength will be displayed on BAI website.
It shall be the responsibility of the affiliated units and the players to ensure
that all the entries forwarded by the Affiliated Units appear in the List. If there
is any omission, the player/s concerned immediately should contact their State
Units and the State Units immediately inform BAI about the omission or proper
rectification. After the Last date for withdrawals without penalty, no complaints
shall be entertained for omission of any entry. BAI will not be responsible for
any omissions of names thereafter.
Withdrawals :: 12th March 2023
If there are any withdrawals after the close of entries, it shall be intimated to
BAI immediately by the Affiliated Units before the closing date of
withdrawal.
Any player failing to participate in any BAI approved tournaments after draw
is made, is liable to pay Rs:1500/- for each event (one thousand five hundred)
fine to BAI before participating in next tournament. No exemption under any
grounds (including medical) will be allowed in payment of fine. No player will
be permitted to Participate in the next tournament without paying fine. Their
names will not appear in the M&Q list unless the fine is paid.
Referee shall submit the withdrawal list to BAI within 24 hours after
Completion of the tournament to the Chairman and Convenor TC. On receipt of
the list, it will be circulated to Affiliated Units concerned and the fine amounts
thus collected will be forwarded to the Organizers concerned
Draw & seedings :: However, as already circulated, for this Masters Nationals Championships,
seeding will be given as per points earned from Master Ranking Tournament
held at Udaipur only.
Draws will be made on 18th March 2023 (35+ to 50+) & 22nd March 2023
(55+ to 75+) at the venue in presence of Organizers/Players and BAI Officials

There may be changes as may be decided by Referee
PROTEST :: The fees for lodging protest of any kind shall be Rs. 1000/-. This fee shall be
retained by the organizer of the event. Any protest shall be addressed to the
Org. Secretary in writing within one hour after completion of the match or 4
hours before commencement of the match
TOURNAMENT The President, BAI may nominate Three (3) Members to the Tournament
COMMITTEE Committee.
4 members shall be nominated by the Host Affiliated Unit.
Hon’ble President, Hon’ble General Secretary and Chairman, TC& Convenor
TC, shall be the EX- officio Members of Tournament Committee.
EQUIPMENT :: As per contractual agreement with Yonex/Sunrise, some agreed amount of
SPONSOR: Shuttlecocks will be provided for the tournament. Additional shuttlecocks, if
required shall be purchased by the Organizer.
Sponsorship guidelines will be forwarded separately and the same shall be
strictly adhered to by the organiser..
