Land Preparation
In land Preparation we have remove tree branches, debris, and weeds we have also
Break up the soil surface and incorporate organic matter Mixing the top layer of soil
with the lower layer soil to loosen the soil to improve ventilation and permeability then
Level the field also Distribute crop residue evenly over the field and incorporate it into
the soil . We have Set up a drainage system to Remove excess water that may
cause flood in our area.

The tools we have used was Rake use for leveling soil, gathering debris, and spreading
mulch and for preparing seedbeds, smoothing gravel. A wheelbarrow was used to transport
piles of dirt, weeds in the land area we also use Bolo for cutting grasses and weeds in the
area.Spade was used also in digging canal or ditches in land area and Shovel to loose soil,
moving soil from one place to another and for mixing soil media.

2. Sowing of seeds
In preparation of sowing seeds we have Prepare the soil and Loosen the soil, remove
weeds and old plants, and till the soil, we also out pig manure as an organic fertilizer
to help our soil and seed germinate. We have Selected a quality seeds and high-
yielding seeds that are free of disease and pathogens. Plant the seeds at the right
depth,The depth of sowing depends on the size of the seed, the soil texture, and the
season. In general, the seed should be placed twice as deep as it is wide we also
maintain proper distance space of the seedsat the correct distance. We Water the
seeds and keep the soil moist for the first week. We water them twice a day until they
germinate. Thin out the seedlings so that each one has enough space to get
nutrients after the seedlings have at least two real leaves, harden them for 3–5 days
to prepare them for the field and transplant after 11 days we have also used organic
pesticide to keep our plant out of pest.

3. Fertilizer application
In the fertilizer application we are going to use complete fertilizer (14-14) as our
choice of fertilizer.

4. Pest And Disease Management


we have use Organic Pest Attractant to lure away the from our plants and we also
use Organic pesticide to repel pest in our plants.
