My friend, i just want ask you this?
If you were to die tonight, are you 100% sure that you would go to
heaven?
Our death is inevitable,right!
Because God wants you to be saved and make sure of your
salvation.
The bible says in 1 John 5:13-
........ that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may
believe on the name of the Son of God.
Well, you can settle this problem right now if you're are willing.
The bible says in Roman chapter 3:23
For all have sinned, come short of the glory of God.
Basically, it means that all have sinned against God and fall
short of the glory of God which is Heaven.The bible also says
there is none that doeth good,no not one.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT SIN IS?
I'm sure, everyone knows.Well in short,sin is any bad things which
we have done, such as lying, stealing, fornication,lust etc...Right!
HAVE YOU COMMITED ANY SIN BEFORE?
I'm sure if you're honest person you have committed one.
Well, then the bible says in Revelation 21:8-
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable and
whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolators, and all liars shall
have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone
which is the second death.
It simply means the punishment for sin is hell and judgement.
The wages of sin is death the bible says in Roman6:23
Your sins shall find you says the bible in numbers 32:23
( Can you see yourself as a sinner in the sight of God ,and
need a savior to save from from sin.Because ,You are dead in sins
and trespasses,you are LOST sinner.)
YOU SEE YOUR SIN IS THE PROBLEM THAT SEPERATED YOU FROM
GOD.right.
BUT BUT... GOOD NEWS FOR YOU, A SINNER.
THE BIBLES SAYS in Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
yet sinners, Christ died for us.
DO YOU KNOW STORY OF JESUS?
I'm sure many of you know the story of Jesus very well, but again
just a reminder,
"JESUS is God, who lived up in heaven.Two thousand years
back from now, He came down here on earth and became a man
like us,and He lived for Thirthy-three and half years(33 1/2 yrs),
without committing any sin, then there were certain people who
were jealous of Him and Crucified on the rugged cross,then He
was buried and after three days He raised himself up from the
dead.Now, He is up in heaven."
DO YOU KNOW WHY JESUS WENT THROUGH ALL THIS BLOODY
MESS FOR US?
It is because, you remember your sin is the problem why you
can't go to heaven.right?
So, the ONLY thing that can WASH AWAY YOUR SIN is the
BLOOD OF JESUS.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how
that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day
according to the scriptures:
He Loved you enough to die for your sins, He took the penalty
of your sins.He took your place and mine at that old rugged cross.
He was made cursed for us,the bible says,
Galatians 3:13
13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made
a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth
on a tree:
2 Corinthians 5:21
[21]For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that
we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Again, the bible says
Ephesians 2:8-9
[8]For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God:
[9]Not of works, lest any man should boast.
You see salvation is not by good works you do, such as :
Water baptism, attending church service, you religion, any
goodworks cannot save you.
The bible says our righteousness in the sight of God is as filthy
rags (Isaiah 64:6)
Psalms 39:5 says
.......verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity.
And again,
2 Corinthians 7:10
[10]For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be
repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
So ,to get save you need repent as a sinner or you need to be
sorry for being a sinner.
ARE YOU SORRY FOR BEING A SINNER?
well,if you're convicted of your sins against God and you are
feeling sorry, then that's great.
The bible says in Romans 10:9
[9]That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved.
Again in,Acts 16:31
[31].....Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be
saved,....
SO, DO YOU BELIEVE EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE HEARD/SEEN
IN THE GOSPEL SO FAR?
IF you believe, that's wonderful,
Now, all you have to do is say it to God that you believe the
gospel (Good news),
It takes only 15 seconds
Well, you might might the say but you don't know how to say it,
Well, i can help you say it God, but because that, remember
repeating the prayer doesn't save you, it is you telling God that
you believe the gospel.okey.
So, here is a prayer, you say it from your heart.
Dear God, i repent as a sinner. I believe Jesus is God, who died,
buried and resurrected.So, His blood can WASH away my sins.so i
only trust in His blood alone to save me, not my good Works, save
me from HEll.In Jesus name i pray.Amen.
