~ Communion ~
What does the word ‘Communion’ mean? I want
to , for just a few minutes, speak on ‘Communion’.
‘Communion’ really means ‘to have fellowship’.
Come into Communion with Christ – that is
Communing.
Now, communing is not altogether one doing the
talking, but waiting and seeing what He says to us.
That many times when we make great mistakes, is
we do all the talking and don’t wait and give Him the
chance to answer back.
We go sometimes, “Lord, that Thou would do so and
so. Amen. And we get up and leave.
Now, that really isn’t Communing. That is asking
Him for a favour. But when we stay long enough, He
answers back.
That’s when you’re getting Communion with the Lord.

Convention 2012
God bless you, Brethren! Bro. Alex Hoarau from Reunion Island has confirmed that the dates for the
Convention in Noumea will be from the 15th to the 22nd of October. As mentioned last month, there is a
desire to have as many young people as possible attend these meetings as the message comes

Monday, October 15: Travellers will be greeted at the airport and taken to their hotels in Noumea.
Tuesday, October 16: Morning meeting for all the ministers preparing their schedules.
Evening meeting with youth to prepare their sketches, special songs,
with the musicians and their instruments.
Wednesday, October 17: Early morning departure for Hienghen on the East Coast, which is about 5
hours away by bus; for a special visit to brethren. Then in the evening, there
will be an Evangelistic Meeting on site at Sister Claudine’s home.

 It is now two years since Bro Greg Alford had the vision of running a church radio station.
Since that time a lot has happened. Apart from the weeks immediately following the devastating
earthquake in September 2010 in which our church was damaged beyond repair, Kaiapoi
Gospel FM has been running practically continuously since April 2010.
We have had correspondence from a number of listeners in our local community, and one of
our sisters went into a shop in Kaiapoi to hear Bro Branham’s voice being broadcast - much
better than the usual fare they serve up to customers!
A lot of effort is put into the programming and scheduling for the radio station each week, and
Bro Justin Lane has been keen to use the work we are doing here to reach a larger audience
than the 10,000 or so who can receive the station in the Kaiapoi area. So thanks to Bro Justin’s
hard work we are hoping to soon have Kaiapoi Gospel FM broadcasting in the Nelson/Takaka/
Blenheim area, initially on a one year trial.
The latest development is the live streaming of the radio station over the internet, where we
can currently have up to 27 listeners at a time. Anyone who wants the link to the radio station

We know that our radio station has been a blessing in Kaiapoi, and we are praying that it will
now be a blessing to more people as we spread the net wider in our quest to catch that ‘last
one’ for the rapture.

 ~ THE HIGH CALLING ~
“If God has called you to be really like Jesus Christ in all your spirit, He will draw you
into a life of crucifixion and humility: and put on you such demands of obedience, that
He will not allow you to follow other Christians, and in many ways He will seem to let
other good people do things which He will not let you do.

Other Christians and ministers who seem very religious and useful may push themselves,
pull wires, and work schemes to carry out their plans, but you cannot do it: and if you
attempt it, you will meet with such failure and rebuke from the Lord as to make you
sorely penitent, Others can brag on themselves, on their work, on their success, on their
writings, but the Holy Spirit will not allow you to do any such thing, and if you begin it
He will lead you into some deep mortification that will make you despise yourself and
all your good works.

Others will be allowed to succeed in making great sums of money, or having a legacy
left to them or in having luxuries, but God may supply you daily, because He wants you
to have something far better than gold, and that is a helpless dependence on Him, that He
may have the privilege of providing your needs day by day out of the unseen treasury.

The Lord may let others be honoured and put forward, and keep you hid away in
obscurity, because He wants to produce some choice, fragrant fruit for His coming glory,
which can only be produced in the shade. God will let others be great, but keep you
small, He will make you work and toil on without knowing how much you are doing:
and then to make your work still more precious, He will let others get the credit for the
work which you have done, and this will make your reward ten times greater when Jesus
comes.

The Holy Spirit will put a strict watch on you, with a jealous love, and ‘will rebuke you
for little words and feelings or for wasting your time, which other Christians never seem
distressed over. So make up your mind that God is an infinite Sovereign, and has a right
to do as He pleases with His own and He will not explain to you a thousand things which
may puzzle your reason in His dealing with you. God will take you at your word, and if
you absolutely sell yourself to be His slave He will wrap you up in a jealous love, and
let other people say and do many things that you cannot do or say.

Settle it forever that you are to deal directly with the Holy Spirit, and that He is to have
the privilege of tying your tongue or chaining your hand, or closing your eyes, in ways
that others are not dealt with. Now when you are so possessed with the Living God that
you are, in your sacred heart, pleased and delighted over this peculiar personal, private
jealous guardianship and management of the Holy Spirit over your life, you will have
found the vestibule of Heaven.”

 ~Middle East: Members of One Body~
“So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the
grace that is given to us…” [Rom 12:5-6]
To our dear Brothers and Sisters in the Body of Christ, greetings once again in Jesus name. Though distance may separate us, in Spirit
we realize our oneness and affinity with each one of you. While we are members collectively of one Body, we are unique in our walk,
our experience and gift of service. In this we recognize our call and our place in the Body to serve the Lord here in the Middle East. Our
labours - are your labours - as we are “labourers together with God”.1 Without this kind of “body” labour, in prayer and support, our
work of course would simply not be possible.
Lithuania: Just how far reaching this love and support from the Body of Christ is, was recently
made real to me. Brother Pavel, Pastor in Vilnius, Lithuania, extended his invitation to come
and share the testimonies of our work as well as to preach at their annual anniversary meetings
March 1st. There I learned of how the testimonies and reports of our work were being translated into
Russian and sent to many throughout the former Soviet Union. This contributed to generate a keen
interest in the unfolding prophecies concerning the Middle East. Brother Pavel’s specific request was
that I share these things firsthand with the ministers and believers that gathered from Russia, Ukraine and other nations of the former
Soviet Union.
Israel: Following the meetings in Lithuania, we went to Israel again for follow-up ministry. We were
connecting again with those of the Orthodox Jewish background as well as some from the Jewish
Messianic Congregation. I was also privileged to minister for Brother Solomon, pastor of Living Word -
Tel Aviv. Brother Solomon has a unique testimony. With Jewish ancestry from his father, it was possible for him
to move his family from his native India and take up residence in Israel. Brother Solomon applied for - and was
granted permission by the Government of Israel, to form and open a Christian church in Tel Aviv.
This small fledgling work in Israel is made up of believers working in Israel from the Philippines as well as
some Russian believers of Jewish origin who immigrated to Israel. Brother Solomon is engaged in outreach which has resulted in some
people of Indian background, also working in Israel, coming to the meetings.
Greece: I am indeed thankful for some modern conveniences and that the “ships” we travel by today, are not limited to
water as in the days of Paul. In mere hours I could travel from Jerusalem to Macedonia. There the Lord granted us another
opportunity to preach the Word of God near Philippi. By God’s grace, the initial response in the church I ministered was
tremendous. It was amazing to learn how the Lord had prepared our coming.
Four years ago when on a flight from Lebanon to Norway for special meetings, we saw a couple
whose Godly appearance greatly impressed us. When returning to Lebanon this same couple was on
our flight and this time seated right next to us. Striking up a conversation, we learned they were Turkish
Christians from Istanbul. I was able to witness the Message to him then and in subsequent visits to
Istanbul. It turned out he was a pastor. Unknown to us, this Turkish pastor shared this testimony of our
meeting on the airplane – with the very pastor that we were just with in Greece! How blessed we were by this confirmation. When
Pastor John in Greece realized I was the same man on the plane that his friend Yacoub from Turkey had testified about, it really opened
a door. Needless to say, we are expecting the Lord to prove His Word in an even greater way in return visits.
Jordan: We just returned from Jordan where I was again with the Nazarene pastor with whom I have been sharing the
Message. After my last service though, he spoke with some concern. Obviously he was feeling the pressure of the organization
versus the Truth he was hearing. Please remember this pastor in your prayers that the full revelation of the Word will be
granted to his soul.
Thankfully, another young man that I spent time with was affected much more positively. He was astounded
by the profound truths that he was hearing for the first time. He exclaimed; “You’ve been sent to Jordan just for
me!” You can also pray for this young man pictured with me here, as he studies the 7 Church Age book I gave him.
We were also able to speak of the Truth of redemption through our Lord Jesus Christ with a Muslim man.
Though the iron grip of tradition holds his soul, we know the Light of Truth is stronger. We trust and believe It will penetrate his soul
and bring repentance and a hunger to know the true grace and mercy that is only available through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Syria: As events in Syria spiral out of control, those in Homs with whom we were sharing the Truth have had to flee their
city. Though our communications are severely limited, we continue to monitor the desperate situation there and ask for
your prayers for their safety and for the leadership of the Holy Spirit there. Though recent headlines speak of a UN brokered
“peace plan”, the track record of credibility for the Syrian regime is unfortunately extremely poor. In spite of this, we are assured that
each event in the Middle East is divinely and sovereignly in the hands of our Great God and King.
Iran: We continue to remember in our prayers Brother Youcef along with the others who are in prison. There is Brother
Petros in prison serving a one year sentence. Brother Behnam, who is in prison serving a five year sentence, is reported to
be in ill health with some sort of intestinal disorder. His family is concerned as his brother died from intestinal cancer. On
March 14, while attempting to cross the Turkish border from Iran, Brother Alireza was arrested. He was attempting to flee the country
to escape his six year prison sentence.
Twelve others in Iran, who had previously been acquitted of charges, were recently brought to court a second time – for the same
crimes. As tensions escalate in the Middle East and especially with regards to Iran, we want to continue in prayer for those who are
standing in faith for our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray that they will be the witness our Lord desires and that His protection, deliverance
and healing will be provided to them and their families.
Once again we thank you for your love and concern for the Word to be heard here in these unreached regions. With joy and a thankful
heart we serve the Lord here in the Middle East. We sincerely pray that the Lord will bless you richly.

that’s when the world will know that we’re Christians. That’s when the world will know that we’re brethren and
sisters, when we have love one for another. That’s the mark of Christianity, is love one for another. When we get
that, then God will begin to work among us and bring us milk, honey, great things. Why, it’s good when we find
what God’s plan and move into it
