“Courage is not the absence of fear but triumph over it”
-Nelson Mandela
This quote hits hard on every individual standing on this Planet . From one of our gifted
leaders Nelson Mandela . Now he has lit a candle for us which is a wildfire now . Now let's
take a dive in what /how and why ?? This quote is much of a deal .
Nelson Mandela's life was marked by incredible hardships, from growing up under
apartheid's systemic racism and poverty to spending 27 years in prison, where he endured
hard labor, solitary confinement, and physical abuse. He missed precious time with his
family, made immense personal sacrifices, and faced betrayal and backstabbing from some
of his own people. Mandela also struggled with health issues, including tuberculosis and eye
problems, and saw many friends and comrades die or be killed in the fight against apartheid.
After his release from prison, he faced exile and had to rebuild his life, only to take on the
daunting task of reconciling a divided nation as President, carrying the weight of a nation's
expectations and facing immense pressure and stress. Despite these overwhelming
challenges, Mandela remained steadfast in his commitment to fighting for justice, equality,
and freedom, inspiring millions worldwide with his remarkable resilience, courage, and
leadership.
Let us start this from a story - Once a small boy ran into the wilderness . He went in and
suddenly realised he was lost . He panicked and his heart beat rose incredibly . He was
flabbergasted and he stepped back . And he fell into a tiger pit . He panicked and he heard
voices after voices . The boy’s hand shivered . A snake on his shoulders the boy panicked
and maniked he was trusted in fear and he fell .
After sometime he woke up in some sprinkle of water, His mother in worry asked him “Are
you ok darling , why didn't you get the rope ” The child replied “there was no rope I just saw
a snake ” . The mother replied “No you believed it was a snake if you had guts you would
have double checked you would have been saved way easier ”
The moral is how well you can choose on your fear will decide your fate . It's just like a
marshmallow when a marshmallow is burnt people go on saying “Ohh !!! No its burnt ” but if
any of us take a deep breath and twist the burnt marshmallow you see the best of it .
This is the time when you listen to your inner voice it's way easier to ride true life with
courage . And its a abadent force when you overcome your fear . Any body can be afraid or
fear certain things but when you go through it you will find out what you are made of
I used to let fear hold me back, but I realized that it was stealing my dreams and suffocating
my potential. So, I made a choice to face my fears head-on. I acknowledged them, accepted
them, and slowly started to overcome them.
It wasn't easy, but every small victory gave me the courage to keep going. I learned to
reframe my negative thoughts, focus on my strengths, and surround myself with positivity.
Today, I stand tall, knowing that I am capable of overcoming any obstacle. I am no longer a
prisoner of fear, but a warrior of courage.
You can be too. Don't let fear whisper 'you can't' in your ear. Tell it 'I can' and watch your life
transform. You got this!
Nelson Mandela the great freedom fighter . He did not consist of any talent comparatively
to others there was and will be someone above and below him But what made him stand out
is quiet vivid and simple he stood not only against britishers but also his fear every leader ,
every celebrity has his or her own origin story to tell and which always in which at least once
the individual must have overcome fear. And if Nelson Mandela was afraid and didn't bother
to overcome it imagine the situation of Africa its worth it totally worth his jails , his hits . It's
not about how much you get hit, it's about how much you get hit and get up back again .
My worst fear was failing in my boards . I was convinced that the test before I took decided
who I was . I was flabbergasted and sabotaged in the pressure I undertook outside and
inside . Since I passed 10th now I realised that I was afraid of a cockroach . It was hard
overcoming the fear but I managed to do it and I am proud of it . I took a choice of facing it
and I did .
