Lesson Topic: Photo Editing Using InShot

Objectives
By the end of this activity, students will be able to:
1. Apply basic photo editing tools in InShot.
2. Edit a photo by adjusting brightness, contrast, and saturation.
3. Add text and filters to enhance the photo’s appearance.
4. Export and save an edited photo in a specified format.
Materials Needed
Smartphone or any gadget with the InShot app installed
Sample photos (provided by teacher or taken by students)
Internet connection (if applicable)
Instructions
1. Open InShot:
o Launch the InShot app on your device.
o Tap on Photo to start a new project and select an image sent to the gc.
2. Basic Editing:
o Use the Adjust tool to modify the brightness, contrast, and saturation of the
photo. Experiment with each setting to see how it changes the image.
Brightness: Increase or decrease the brightness to suit your photo.
Contrast: Adjust to make the photo sharper or softer.
Saturation: Enhance or reduce colors in the photo.
3. Adding Filters:
o Tap on Filters and explore the various options. Apply a filter that enhances the
overall look of your photo.
o Write down the name of the filter you chose and explain why you selected it.
4. Adding Text:
o Tap Text to add a caption or title to your photo.
o Customize the font style, color, and size to make the text stand out.
o Place the text creatively on the photo.
5. Additional Edits (Optional):
o Explore other features, like Stickers or Crop, to further personalize your photo.
o If you use any of these features, describe how you applied them and why.
6. Export and Save:
o Once you’re satisfied with your edits, tap on Save.
oChoose a resolution for the photo, then tap Save again to download it to your
gallery.
7. Submit Your Work:
o Share the edited photo with your teacher by uploading it to the designated folder.
