T-PRESENTATION Water cover about 71% of the Earth surface. It ensures life on Earth. Human
0R ACTIVITIES body is comprised of about 70% of water. Water involves in all body function
most of the chemical reaction take place in the presence of water. It makes
food, it provides Habitat. Industries require water for their functions.
Sources of water:
1.Ground water resources.
2.surface water resources.
Harmful effects of polluted water: Water contains many harmful bacteria and
toxic materials. These chemicals may cause various diseases in animals as well
as in humans. E;g Typhoid, Hepatitis, cholera. These diseases may even lead
to death. Aquatic life is also disturbed due to polluted water.

MAIN ACTIVITIES After getting the response of students in warm up activity the teacher will
perform an activity to develop the interest of student in the lesson. The
teacher will take a glass of water and pour some drops of black ink in the
water, and show the class that the water changed its color to black. Then she
will pour some drops of blue ink in the glass and conclude that water is
colorless. Because when they pour black ink it got black color and when they
added blue it turned to blue color. It takes the color of the thing being added
in it.
