1) 2 of plush yarn skein Himalaya Dolphin Baby (violet).

Use may use any other yarn you like. The pattern is suitable for crocheting both plush yarn and
knitted/cotton yarn..
2) 1 of plush yarn skein Himalaya Dolphin Baby (light green)
A little pink for the tentacles, but you can use just light green
3) Hook 3.5 - 4mm (if you crochet loosely, use less size hook), 2 mm hook for beak.
4) Safety eyes (about 25-30mm). If you use another yarn, your toy will be smaller size, so take
safety eyes with less diameter.
5) Stuffing material – holofiber, markers, scissors, pins (to pin parts before sewing), a long
needle with a non-sharp tip.

MR – magic ring
ch – chain stitch

sc– single crochet

inc – increase (2 sc in 1 stitch)
BLO - back loops only
dec – decrease (2 sc crocheted FLO and together)
sl st –slip stitch

HDC – half double crochet

hdc4tog – 4hdc crocheted together
DC – double crochet
( ) х n - repeat sequence in brackets n times

The size of the toy depends on the hook size you use. When crocheting with a hook 4 mm, the
toy is 50 cm high. Yarn consumption: 2 a skein of the main color and 3/4 a skein of fluffy yarn.

The pattern does not include crochet lessons, the pattern is available for people who are
already know base of crocheting and can read the pattern.

You can wash the toy by hand in warm soapy water. Squeeze out the toy after washing by
gently pressing on the toy, without twisting, so as not to deform it. Dry it only on a flat surface.
NOT ON HEATING APPLIANCE! With proper care, the toy will serve you for a long time =)
If you use cotter pins, wooden discs, glue (lashes and eyelids) in the toy, I recommend only dry
cleaning, this is more of a decorative toy. If you crochet a toy for a baby, then it is better to use
plastic joints, and embroider lashes.

Crochet eyelids for eyes from yarn of the main color

the tentacles as described below! Insert the eyes between rows 19 and 20

Find a place to put the eyes symmetrically between the two tentacles!

Now we need to divide the 80 loops into 8 equal parts!

Count out 10 loops each, place markers.

Next, from every 10 loops we will crochet the tentacles with turning rows.

Next we will crochet the tentacles, each tentacle will be crocheted in turning rows!

Now we need to divide the 80 loops into 8 equal parts!

Count out 10 loops each, place markers.

Next, from every 10 loops we will crochet the tentacles with turning rows.

When crocheting the tentacles we will use a puff stitch. Look carefully at the
diagram of how to crochet a puff stitch.

You can use a different color yarn for the highlights, I crocheted with pink colored yarn. But you
can crochet with one color!

Place the bottom part on the body, aligned so that the tentacles match each other. You can pin
them together.

Crochet around joining the

bottom and top of the tentacles
with stitches.

After you finish knitting around each

tentacle, stuff with filler, NOT tightly,
lightly!

Your stomach doesn't need to fill out, it

shouldn't bulge, there shouldn't be a
bump on the bottom!
