I. Basic operation

1. Before operation

Cautions during machine operation:

 Do not turn off the compressed air during operation. The machine may malfunction, as
pneumatic devices are not correctly controlled.
 Before begin maintaince, always make sure that no air pressure remains in air cylinders.

Cautions during power outages:

 If a power outage (blackout) occurs during automatic machine operation, always turn the main
power switch off to prevent faulty operation or machine damage after power has been restored.
Also remove the boards that remain in the machine.
1.1. Canceling emergency stop

S1 – Release the emergency stop button (if button is pressed, turn it clockwise to release it).

S2 – Check the surrounding area for safety.

S3 – Press the [READY] button to turns on the servomotors. [READY] button is enable only [ACTIVE]
button is turned on.

S4 – Check the signal light and screen display. The red lamp of the signal light is off and the emergency
stop is off.
1.2. Basic cofiguration of operation screen

1.3. Clearing an error

If an error occurs a buzzer sound and a warning screen appears. To clear error, use the following steps.

S1 – Press the [ERROR CLEAR] on the operation panel or [BUZZER OFF] to turn off the buzzer.

S2 – Check the cause of the error are displayed on the lower part in the error screen.

S3 – Press the [ERROR CLEAN] on the error screen to clean the error screen.

S4 – Check the signal light and screen display (The yellow lamp of signal light and the error message is
now off).

1.4. Typical error and troubleshooting


- Pick-up error

- Vaccum errors
- Vision error

2. Starting and stopping the machine

Check before operation

Turn on power switch

Perform return-to-origin

Specify operator

Setup screen appears.

Production (Running)

Finish board production.


Press [Off] button on screen

Return axes to origin

Press emergency stop button

Shutdow dialog box appears.

Turn off power switch

2.1. Pre-open check


- Always be sure to press the emergency stop button before making check.
- Never place any part of the body in the head movement range while the green lamp is on.
Pre-open checklist

2.2. Staring the machine

S1 – Turn on the main power switch → the initialization screen appears and the program necessary for
machine operation is loaded.

S2 – Perform return-to-origin, press [READY] button.

S3 – Press the [Operator] button → specify the operator “Administrator” or “Operator” and enter the
password → Press [OK]
