Dear Hiring Manager,
I am excited to apply for the AI Solution Engineering Intern position within Nokia’s Product
Security team. As a Computer Science and Bioengineering major at UIUC, I am eager to
contribute my skills in machine learning, Python development, and microservice architecture to
enhance your applications and align them with cutting-edge security and compliance standards.
During my internship at NeuroEquilibrium, I designed and implemented a Python-based audio
processing tool, evolving it from a simple sound manipulation script to a robust system using IIR
filtering for enhanced performance. This experience demonstrated my ability to build and
optimize applications from the ground up. In addition, my project Raktshodh.in, an AI-driven
anemia screening platform adopted by multiple diagnostic labs, highlights my capacity to design
AI solutions that address real-world challenges effectively.
My published research on neural networks’ digit frequency recognition showcases my ability to
innovate within complex problem domains. This research involved uncovering extreme
memorization patterns and demonstrated how averaging processes in decision trees and random
forests. The insights gained are directly applicable to adapting AI for intelligent vulnerability
management. Furthermore, my work developing CNN models to analyze bioimaging datasets
under Prof Rohit Bhargava underscores my commitment to leveraging AI for impactful solutions.
The opportunity to design AI/ML-based proof-of-concept solutions for intelligent vulnerability
management aligns seamlessly with my technical expertise and passion for advancing
technology responsibly. I would welcome the chance to discuss how my skills and experiences
align with Nokia’s goals. Thank you for considering my application and I look forward to working
with your team.
Sincerely,
Padmaksh Khandelwal
