The Role of Literature in my Life as a Students


Literature is always in the life of every student, in high school, senior high school and now in
college we still encounter the literature, it holds a significant place in the life of a student,
shaping personal, academic, and social development. Literature is for everyone, no matter what
your future major or career maybe. On the internet I’ve read something about literature, it says
that literature help us better understand our lives ourselves, and the world around us, but what’s
the role of literature in my life ass student?

Literature is vast but it’s a must to me. Studying literature tests my creative mind, inspiring
innovation and change, it has a lot of contribution to my life as student but the most important
thing that it helps is it help me develop my creative imagination and express it by writing in an
artistic and aesthetic way, literature helps us use our written language as a practical, everyday
tool that educates and inspires those who truly interact with it. Literature also helps me expand
my ability to understand the beliefs and values of others, it introduces us to understand different
culture, histories, and philosophies, broadening our world. In addition, I also noticed that
literature place a crucial role in improving our language and communication skills. Through
reading we encounter rich vocabulary, diverse sentence structure and expressive style of writing
that I truly experience.

Literature is an invaluable part of a student’s journey. It not only enhances academic abilities but
also nurture emotional intelligence, ethical reasoning, and sense of connection with the world. As
a student, we can embrace literature as a lifelong companion that enriches our minds and spirits,
preparing us for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
