• To perform engineering assignments as part of design team for various projects related to seat
structures.
• Carried out functions of detail design in Faurecia Seating’s R&D Centre in Shanghai, China.
• To use CATIA and NX-12 software to develop 3D models and drawings along with GD&T that
meet engineering specifications.
• To develop robust designs of the seat components, checking their manufacturing feasibilities i.e.
stamping, bending and welding feasibility. Also work in order to optimize the seat structures.
• To take ownership of all tasks related to complete seat investigations/ Studies / Documentations/
DMU Kinematics.
Management/ comparison, online data management & Kanban closure with checklists.
• To study FEA reports, understand the seat behaviour and contribute towards improving its
performance during the design validation process.
• Worked on 10W, 8W, 6W & 4W Power & manual seats along with respective Variant management.
• Creation of new kinematics product for multiple movements like four bar chain mechanism, slide
mechanism, tilt mechanism etc.
• Basic stack up study and analysis for single parts and assembly
• Part Interface and Packaging Study with Seat and Vehicle Environment. Create Engineering
surfaces, models or sections using Part Modelling, Generative Shape Design, and Proximity study.
• Bill of Material (BOM) management in PLM and MS Excel.
• Data entry in Checklists before the Seat moves on to next phase of its Life Cycle.
• PLM management like Engineering Change Requests (ECR) management process and its
