EXECUTIVE ORDER NO.01


Series of 2023

CREATION OF BARANGAY ANTI DRUG ABUSE COUNCIL

WHEREAS, MC 98-227 mandates the creation of Provincial, City, Municipal and


Barangay Anti- Drug Abuse Councils;

WHEREAS, THE CRAETION OF Barangay Anti- Drug Abuse councils can minimize if
not eradicate the increasing drug releted heinous crime incidence in the barangay;

NOW THEREFORE, I, JOSELITO C. BAG-AO, Punong Barangay of Barangay


Mapawa, Surigao City by virtue of the power vested in me by law do hereby order;

SECTION 1. Creation of the barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council- The Barangay Anti -Drug
Abuse Council shall be created with thefollowing composition;

Chairman : Joselito C. Bag-ao -Punong Barangay


Vice Chairman : Mila P. Achas - Barangay Kagawad
Members : Mercy grace o. Basas - Public School principal/Head teacher
: Moises G. Achas - Chief tanod
: Edelyn S. Silvosa - NGO-Representative
: KemPatrick G. Eludo -Parent TeachersAssociation president
: Jovie V. Lopez - Relegious Organization Representative

SECTION II. The BADAC shall have the following responsibilities and functions;
1. Plan, strategize, implement and evaluate programs and projects on drug abuse prevention in the
barangay;
2. Coordinate and collaborate with other institutions, implementing programs and projects on drug abuse
on the barangay level;
3. Continuously gather and update data on drug Abuse and its effect on the peace and order situation in
the barangay including listing of drug users and pusher;
4. Submit a monthly report to the City Anti -Drug Abuse council (CADAC) through the DILG City field
office:
5. Refer users and pushers to the police and other institution for corresponding sanctios, rehabilitation
and counseling; and
6. Perform other Functions
SECTION III. EFFECTIVITY. This Order shall take effect immediately.

Done This 20th day of march 2023 at Barangay Mapawa, Surigao City.
