Filipino man: “Take a seat there”

Foreigner: “where?”

Filipino man : “There”

Foreigner: “are you sure bro? on the floor?”

Filipino man : “Yes”

The man took a seat on the floor and so as the foreigner

The man called his wife and introduced his wife to the foreigner.

Filipino man: “Ayesha! Halika dito may bisita tayo!”

Filipino man: "Meet my wife, Ayesha"

The wife : "Nice to meet you bro, how are you?"


she stretched out her hand to shake his hand

Foreigner : “Im doing fine”

Filipino man: "Would you like a bottle of lambanog?"

Foreigner: "Sure, I'd like to"

Filipino man: Ayesha, pwede mo ba kaming dalhan ng lambanog?”.

Wife: “Sige”

The wife brought it with a few glasses.


The man poured a glass of lambanog and poured it outside.

Foreigner: "Why did you pour it outside? is it dirty?”

Filipino man: "Haha! No bro, it is how we show respect around here!"

Foreigner: "Respect what do yah mean?!

Filipino man: "We're showing respect to the earth by bringing back what we've taken from it”

Foreigner: “Wow thats so cool bro!”
