Purpose of the study:

The purpose of this study is to explore the intersection of human creativity

and machine learning in the field of music composition. Historically, music
composition has been a deeply human endeavor, driven by individual creativity,
emotion, and cultural context. However, the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has
introduced new possibilities for automated music creation. Recent advancements
in machine learning, particularly generative models like neural networks and deep
learning, have enabled AI to produce music that mimics human creativity,
challenging traditional boundaries of authorship and artistry.

This research aims to investigate the potential of AI-generated music in enhancing

or collaborating with human compositional processes. By examining how AI can
complement rather than replace human creativity, the study will explore the
capabilities of AI systems to generate original compositions, identify patterns in
music theory, and contribute to the creative workflow. Ultimately, this study seeks
to understand how the collaboration between human musicians and machine
learning can lead to innovative new forms of musical expression and expand the
possibilities of music composition in the digital age.

Study Description:

This research investigates the collaboration among human creativity and

artificial intelligence (AI) in music composition. The most modern ML constructs
showcase how AI can not only reproduce already-existing musical forms but also
create new compositions charged with emotion. The research is focused on how
AI can be employed as a co-tool in the creative process so as to add value to
human musicians in composing music by stretching limits of conventional music
theory.

A series of experiments is the general nature of this research which seeks to

investigate the various kinds of approaches concerning AI generated music; both
the rule-based and generative models such as neural networks and deep learning
techniques. It tries to find how AI adapts itself to genres, styles, and emotional
tone as well as the limit to which input from a human can guide or affect the final
generated outcome.

Moreover, the study examines how AI affects the general music industry: ethical
issues concerning ownership and originality and whether AI will democratize
music creation. This will come from the melting of man through machine learning
algorithms, which shall open doors for musicians, composers, and producers in
linking creativity and technology.
