Rewrite the given sentences in indirect Speech-


1. He says, “I am ready.”
He says that he is ready.
2. Mohan said, “The floods destroyed their fields.”
Mohan said that the floods had destroyed their fields.
3. He said to me, “You have made a mistake in your statement.”
He told me that I had made a mistake in my statement.
4. Mother said, “I have not been able to complete my work today.”
Mother said that she had not been able to complete her work that day.
5. Anuj said, “My interview that was scheduled for Monday is postponed
to next week.”
Anuj said that his interview that had been scheduled for Monday was
postponed to the following week.
6. He said to us, “let us go on a picnic.”
He suggested / proposed to us that we should go on a picnic.
7. Tisha said to her friend, “Lend me some money, please.”
Tisha requested her friend to lend her some money.
8. The teacher said to the students, “Do not lean against the wall.”
The teacher forbade the students from leaning against the wall. / The
teacher ordered the students not to lean against the wall.
9. The farmer said, “May God save my son.”
The farmer prayed that God might save his son.
10.“What a horrible accident it is!” he said.

He inquired of us whether we were going home.
