B.​ Motivation
Title: Traditional Asian Theater Music in Action
The learners will be divided into two groups (same group, last session.) Each group will
represent a Indonesian Wayang Kulit of Traditional Asian Theater Music. Prepare the
improvised instruments and wayang kulit puppets.

C.​ Lesson Proper


Play short samples of wayang kulit and briefly explain their key characteristics. such as
rhythm, instruments, and how music interacts with the performance.

IV.​ ANALYZE
Each group must create a short 3–5 minute performance that includes movement,
storytelling, and music inspired by their assigned tradition. They can use body
percussion, voice, or available instruments to mimic the traditional sound. Teams will
collaborate to develop a short scene, incorporating the music and movement styles they
learned. Encourage creativity! They can reenact a famous scene, create their own story, or
stylize a modern tale using traditional techniques.

Each group performs their piece in front of the other. Encourage the audience to observe
