• Objective: Research the date and location of the festival.
• Content:
o When is the festival celebrated (e.g., March 17 for St.

o Where is the festival held (e.g., Rio Carnival in Brazil,
Oktoberfest in Munich)?
o Discuss how festivals vary in location and timing around
the world.
• Activity: Students research when and where their chosen festival
takes place.
Session 3: 5W1H - "Who" and "Why"
• Objective: Research who participates in the festival and why it
is celebrated.
• Content:
o Who participates: Locals, tourists, famous people, etc.
o Why the festival is celebrated: Religious, cultural, or
historical reasons (e.g., St. Patrick’s Day honors St. Patrick,
who brought Christianity to Ireland).
• Activity: Students explain who takes part in their festival and
why it is celebrated.
Session 4: 5W1H - "What"
• Objective: Research what happens during the festival (activities
and events).
• Content:
o What activities take place: Parades, music performances,
dancing, food, etc.
o Explore specific events that are popular in the chosen
festival.
• Activity: Students describe the key activities and events that
happen during their festival.
Session 5: 5W1H - "How"
• Objective: Research how the festival is celebrated.
• Content:
o How is the festival organized and celebrated: Parades,
costumes, music, traditional food, etc.
o How people prepare and participate in the event.
• Activity: Students explain how their chosen festival is organized
and celebrated.
Session 6: Presentation Preparation
• Objective: Prepare and practice for the final presentation.
• Content:
o Students organize the research they have gathered into a
clear, structured presentation.
o Practice presenting in front of classmates and receive
feedback.
• Activity: Students work on their presentations, practicing
speaking clearly and confidently.
Session 7: Final Presentation and Evaluation
• Objective: Present research findings and evaluate the
presentations.
• Content:
o Students give their presentations on their chosen festival,
covering all aspects (When, Where, Who, Why, What, and
How).
o Classmates ask questions and give feedback.
• Activity: Each student presents their festival, and peers evaluate
the presentations.
