• WARNING: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other)
as a safety feature. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still doesn’t fit, contact a qualified electrician. WARNING: DO NOT attempt
to defeat this safety feature.
• WARNING: ALWAYS place humidifier on an elevated firm, flat, level surface
where it’s not easily knocked over. (e.g. on a table, chest, cabinet, etc.).
• WARNING: DO NOT place the appliance directly on the floor, next to a heating
vent, under direct sunlight, high temperature areas, near computers or sensitive
electronic equipment.
• WARNING: DO NOT place the appliance directly on wood furniture or other

during operation.
• WARNING: NEVER operate WITHOUT water in the tank.
• WARNING: DO NOT use hot water in the tank.
• WARNING: ONLY use water in the tank, never use any additive such as
essential oils, eucalyptus, water conditioners, etc… in the water.
• WARNING: DO NOT move appliance with water inside the tank. In this case
remove the Water Tank and empty the Water Reservoir prior to moving.
• WARNING: DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust the unit. Servicing must be
performed by professional or qualified personnel.
• WARNING: Discontinue use if unit makes loud noises or has a strange smell.
• Perform regular maintenance of the Ultrasonic Nebulizer.
• WARNING: DO NOT direct the mist against a wall or other home appliance.
• WARNING: DO NOT pour water into the Base through Air Outlet during
cleaning and filling.
• WARNING: DO NOT rinse Base under faucet.

Unpacking

Open the box and remove

 Filling The Water Tank
WARNING: Always unplug the unit before removing the Water Tank.

Operating Instructions
WARNING: DO NOT operate the humidifier without water in the tank.
WARNING: NEVER lift the tank off the Base while the unit is operating.

ON/OFF - Plug into a standard (120V AC) electrical

outlet. Turn the Mist Control Knob clockwise until
you hear a click and the “Humidity / Waterless”
Indicator turns green. To turn OFF, turn the Mist
Control Knob counterclockwise until you hear a
click and the indicator turns OFF. Mist may not
1 appear immediately; allow up to 15 minutes for the
water in the tank to transfer to the Base.

Mist Output – The unit will turn ON with the lowest

mist setting. Turn the Mist Control Knob clockwise
to increase the mist output and turn the Mist
Control Knob counterclockwise to decrease.

Rotating Mist Nozzle – Can be rotated 360° to

position mist direction to desired location. Simply
rotate nozzle with your finger when the mist nozzle
is in place.

Low Water – When the tank is out of water the

“Humidity / Waterless” Indicator will turn from green
to red and the automatic safety shut-off will turn the
Ultrasonic Nebulizer OFF. You may hear the fan for
a few seconds, this is normal.

Weekly Cleaning & Care
WARNING: Before cleaning always turn power off and unplug the unit from outlet.
WARNING: DO NOT rinse Base under faucet. To clean, wipe the Base with a paper towel.
WARNING: DO NOT use any solvents or aggressive cleaning agents. Keep water away
from the Air Outlet. WARNING: DO NOT tamper with the Water Sensor.
About White Dust -Use of high-mineral content water may cause a white mineral residue to
accumulate on room surfaces near the humidifier. The mineral residue is commonly referred to as
“White Dust”. The higher the mineral content (the harder your water is), the greater the potential for
White Dust. The White Dust is not caused by a defect in the humidifier, but is due only to minerals
suspended in the water from your tap. WARNING: If you have hard tap water STOP using tap
water and use ONLY filtered, distilled, cold boiled or bottled water to minimize the White Dust
residue.

Tank Cleaning - Remove the Rotating Mist Nozzle from the top of the Water Tank then remove the
Water Tank from the unit. Turn the tank upside down, unscrew the Tank Cap and drain any water
from the tank. Wipe the tank with a soft damp cloth then
rinse it with warm water inside and out.

Base Cleaning - Gently wipe the Base with a

soft damp cloth.

White Dust Cleaning - If mineral deposits

“White Dust” are evident around the Ultrasonic
Nebulizer and Water Sensor, clean these surfaces
with a soft cloth and a small amount of undiluted
white vinegar. If necessary, mix a solution of 50% a b
white vinegar and 50% water and fill the Base with
enough solution to cover the Ultrasonic Nebulizer (a).
Allow it to soak for an hour and then use the provided
brush to gently loosen buildup on the
Ultrasonic Nebulizer (b). Put 1 cup of water in the
Base and wipe clean with a soft cloth.
WARNING: DO NOT rinse Base under faucet.

Ceramic Water Filter Cleaning - Remove the

Water Tank from the humidifier Base. Remove the c d
Tank Cap (c) and rinse Ceramic Filter thoroughly with
tap water (d), then replace on Water Tank.

Surface Cleaning - Clean all surfaces of the unit with a clean

damp soft cloth.

WARNING: When emptying the Water Reservoir on the Base, make

sure that the water is poured away from the Air Outlet (e). If water is
poured into the outlet it may damage the humidifier.

Storage
1. Follow all cleaning instructions prior to storage.
2. Dry all parts, including the inside of the Water Tank.
WARNING: NEVER leave water inside the tank for several days.
3. Leave the Water Tank cap partially loosened to prolong the life of the cap.
4. Preferably store in its original box, in a dry place away from
high temperatures.
5. Follow all cleaning instructions after long periods of storage.

Instrucciones de funcionamiento

vapor hacia la derecha para incrementar la salida de
vapor y hacia la izquierda, para disminuirla.

Boquilla giratoria para el vapor – Puede rotarse

360° para que el vapor salga en la dirección de-
seada. Simplemente gira la boquilla de vapor con
tus dedos cuando esté en su lugar.

Nivel de agua bajo – Cuando el tanque no tenga

agua, el indicador de “sin agua/humedad” pasará
de verde a rojo, y control de de apagado de seguri-
dad automático APAGARÁ el nebulizador ultrasóni-
co. Es normal que escuches el ventilador por unos
4 segundos más.

Limpieza y cuidado semanal
ADVERTENCIA: Siempre antes de limpiar, apaga la electricidad y desenchufa la unidad del toma-
corriente. ADVERTENCIA: NO enjuagues la base bajo el grifo. Para limpiar, pásale una toalla de pa-
pel a la base. ADVERTENCIA: NO uses solventes o agentes limpiadores agresivos. Mantén el agua
alejada de la salida de aire. ADVERTENCIA: NO uses el sensor de agua de manera indebida.

Acerca del polvo blanco - El uso de agua con alto contenido de minerales puede ocasionar la
acumulación de residuos de minerales blancos en las superficies de la habitación cercanas al
humidificador. Comúnmente, se llama a este residuo mineral “polvo blanco”. Cuanto más alto
es el contenido de minerales (cuanto más dura es el agua), habrá más posibilidades de que se
produzca polvo blanco. Este polvo no se debe a un defecto del humidificador, sino a los minerales
suspendidos en el agua que sale del grifo ADVERTENCIA: Si tienes agua de grifo dura, DEJA
DE USAR esta agua y usa SOLAMENTE agua filtrada, destilada, hervida y fría o embotellada
para reducir la cantidad de residuo de polvo blanco.

Limpieza del tanque - Quita la boquilla giratoria para el vapor de la parte superior del tanque de
agua y después quítalo de la unidad. Voltea el tanque, desenrosca la tapa de éste y drena el agua
que haya en él. Limpia el tanque con un paño suave y húmedo y luego enjuágalo con agua tibia
por dentro y fuera.

Limpieza de la base - Con cuidado, limpia la base

con un paño suave y húmedo.

Limpieza del polvo blanco -Si hay “polvo blanco” de

los depósitos de minerales alrededor del nebulizador
ultrasónico y el sensor de agua, limpia las superficies con
un paño suave y una pequeña cantidad de vinagre
blanco sin diluir. Si es necesario, haz una mezcla con
50% de vinagre blanco y 50% de agua y llena la base a b
con una cantidad suficiente de esta solución para cubrir
el nebulizador ultrasónico (a). Déjalo en remojo durante
una hora y luego usa el cepillo incluido para aflojar con
cuidado la acumulación de polvo en el nebulizador
ultrasónico (b). Coloca un vaso de agua en la base
y limpia con un paño suave. ADVERTENCIA: NO
enjuagues la base bajo el grifo.

Limpieza del filtro de agua de cerámica - Quita el

tanque de agua de la base del humidificador. Quita la c d
tapa del tanque (c), enjuaga el filtro de cerámica
completamente con agua del grifo y luego vuelve a colocarlo
en el tanque de agua (d).

Limpieza de las superficies - Limpia todas las superficies de la

unidad con un paño suave y húmedo.

ADVERTENCIA: Al vaciar el depósito de agua de la base,

asegúrate de verter el agua lejos de la salida de aire (e). Verter el agua e
en la salida puede dañar el humidificador.

Almacenaje
1. Sigue todas las instrucciones de limpieza antes de guardarlo.
2. Seca todas las piezas, incluso la parte interior del tanque de agua.
WARNING: NUNCA dejes agua dentro del tanque por varios días.
3. Deja la tapa del tanque de agua parcialmente floja para prolongar su vida útil.
4. Es preferible guardarlo en la caja original en un lugar seco y alejado de las altas temperaturas.
