_the theory suggest that there was a star with great gravitational pull than the sun
passed close by the sun drawing off a stream of materials in form of a gas. These
materials split, cooled and condensed to form planets set in orbits by the passing
star. The moon and other heavenly bodies are thought to have formed in a similar
way.
