BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO. 2025-03
RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE HONORABLE FERDINAND
ALEXANDER A. MARCOS III, SENIOR DEPUTY MAJORITY LEADER AND
CONGRESSMAN, FIRST DISTRICT OF ILOCOS NORTE TO ALLOCATE FUNDS
AMOUNTING TO FIVE MILLION PESOS (PHP 5,000,000.00) FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHT SYSTEM (SOLAR STREET LIGHTS) TO
BARANGAY GOVERNMENT OF BARANGAY #33 CABAYO,VINTAR,ILOCOS
NORTE.
WHEREAS, the local Government unit of Barangay #33 Cabayo,Vintar,Ilocos Norte
has identified the need to improve and develop the road network in the
barangay ,particularly to the farm –to-market roads of this barangay to enhance
productivity and to contribute to the social and economic growth of the community;
WHEREAS, in support to the medium –term agricultural development plan which
envisions our county’s global competitiveness and people’s empowerment, there is a
need to install Street Lighting System (Solar Street Lights) to ensure the participation
of farmers in attaining food security and maximum agricultural productivity;
WHEREAS, the roads leading to different barangays have crude, inadequate and
irregular street lighting system that majority streets therein are unlit an night;

WHEREAS,the barangay recognizes the lack of fund implement its priority projects
hence the need to request for funding assistance from outside sources for the
following projects,to wit:

WHEREAS,the provision of 100-watts integrated solar powered street light will not
only eliminate the very high cost of electricity but will also ensure lighted roads at
night essential in the maintenance of peace and order situation in the municipality by
curbing lowliness,minimizing vehicular accidents,providing security to the people and
at the same time ,beautifying the town by further promoting local tourism and a major
contributing factor in the progress of this barangay;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Sangguniang Barangay Member Daniel James
Ramoran, duly seconded by Sangguniang Barangay Member Rodelyn M. Calumpit and
with the concurrence of all the members present, be it –
RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to earnestly request the Honorable
Ferdinand Alexander ‘Sandro’ A. Marcos, Congressman of the First District, Province
of Ilocos Norte to allocate funds amounting Ten Million Six Hundred Sixty Thousand
Pesos (Php 10,660,000.00 ) for the Installation of Street Light System (Solar Street
Lights) to Barangay Government of Barangay #33, Cabayo,Vintar,Ilocos Norte.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to transcribe copies of this resolution and furnish the same
to the Office of the Congressman for his information and kind consideration
RESOLVED FINALLY, to express sincere thanks and profound gratitude of the
Sangguniang Barangay and the barangay constituents of Barangay #33 Cabayo,
Vintar, Ilocos Norte, to the Honorable Ferdinand Alexander ‘Sandro’ Marcos for his
concern towards the attainment of the development goals of the needy community.
