2 Patch Notes
General
1. Reworked the Marksman and Prisoner Classes, see more details further down in the
patch notes.
2. Ray Tracing will now automatically be turned off, due to various bugs, crashes and
lag spikes that come from it.
3. Mod Engine 2 has been updated: 2.0 ► 2.1
4. Erd Tools CPP by Nordgaren has been updated: 1.1.3 ► 1.1.5
5. Transmogrify Armor by Tom Clark has been updated: 2.2.7 ► 2.2.9

Maps
6. Leyndell, Royal Capital has been extensively reworked.
7. Caria Manor has been reworked and expanded to be a T1 Legacy Dungeon.
8. (Upper) Siofra River has been extensively reworked to be a T2 Legacy Dungeon.
9. Expanded Fort Faroth and made it Scarlet Rot themed.
10. Reworked the Cave of the Forlorn to be Golden Order themed.
11. Reworked the island of the Church of Dragon Communion (Limgrave) to be Demi-
Human themed.
12. Reworked Stormfoot Catacombs to be Storm themed.
13. Reworked Limgrave Tunnels to be Bestial themed.
14. Reworked Highroad Cave to be Kaiden themed.
15. Reworked Gelmir Hero’s Grave to be Volcano themed.
16. Modified the enemy placements on the following Legacy Dungeons:
- Raya Lucaria
- Castle Morne

17. Improved the detailing of Raya Lucaria Crystal Cave.
18. Moved the teleport from Fort Gael to Redmane Castle to spawn you at the beginning
of the bridge of Redmane Castle.
19. Various gates in Redmane Castle can now be opened with a nearby lever.
20. Various gates in Stormveil Castle can now be opened with a nearby lever.
21. Added a way of getting to the Plateau east of Caria Manor from Bellum Highway.
22. Added a Stake of Marika to Volcano Manor in the area leading up to the Manor
Passage Site of Grace.
23. Added a Fall Death Camera to any custom killboxes added by the mod, such as
found in Castle Morne.
24. Added a fogwall to the Black Blade Kindred bossfight at the Sanctum Undercroft.
25. Modified a platform in Castle Morne to make a shortcut more obvious.
26. Unstuck a cart in a wall at Redmane Castle.
27. Fixed an issue causing you to not be allowed to teleport out of any dungeon while in
NG+ or above.
28. Fixed an issue causing you to take damage from the Frenzy Shrine and Frenzied
Flame Tower if you had the Clarifying Horn Talisman equipped.
29. Fixed several minor details such as holes and floating assets in the new Selia Legacy
Dungeon.
30. Fixed several issues where certain assets would be invisible under certain
circumstances in Lake of Rot.

Menu
31. Modified a startup message about starting in Offline Mode, to properly explain how
the mod is launching in Offline Mode.
32. Modified a startup message about starting in Offline Mode, to properly explain how
the mod is making use of Alternative Save Files
33. Fixed an issue causing the player to get stuck after selecting Mass Consume Runes
if they have a Lands Between Rune in their inventory. This only affected people who
played on older save files, as the rune could only be obtained through character
creation prior to 1.4.1.
34. Fixed some inconsistencies related to the Cancel button for the Training Grounds
Statue and the Boss Resurrection Altar.
35. Potentially fixed an issue causing the player to get stuck when opening a grace.
Requires community testing.
36. Fixed several typos and grammatical errors.

37. New Remembrance Boss: Dyru, Scavenger King - Found in Castle Morne.
38. New Remembrance Boss: Spiritshaper Caimar - Found in Upper Siofra.

51. The Regal Ancestor Spirit is now accessible from the altar in Lower Siofra after
lighting all 8 braziers.
52. Improved the model of the Giant Glintstone Crab.
53. Modified the AI of Shabriri’s Chosen to make it less likely to loop certain animations
while staying at specific distances.
54. The Twisted Abductor in Leyndell has been buffed.
55. The Hostile NPC Snuppet, Servant of Rot’ has been nerfed.
56. Lowered the health of the Leonine Misbegotten now that it’s a minor boss.
57. Lowered the health of the Noble’s Pages in Castle Morne.
58. Lowered the health of the Monstrous Rotten Crow in Road’s End Catacombs.
59. Removed the ability to backstab Sigur.
60. Removed all I-frames from the Godskin Matriarch.
61. Removed immunity to Madness and Deathblight from a Bloodhound Knight
62. Corrected the Rune gain on several enemies.
63. Delayed the banner and runes from Shabriri’s Chosen’s bossfight to occur after the
shrine has exploded.
64. Corrected the scaling on dogs in the Road’s End Catacombs
65. Fixed an issue causing Sigur’s second phase to have unexpected animations in
certain situations.
66. Fixed an issue causing the Godskin Noble in Volcano Manor to activate while being
in certain locations outside the bossroom.
67. Fixed an issue causing the Frenzied Erdtree Burial Watchdog to not be riposteable
after breaking its stance.
68. Fixed an issue causing the Large Fingercreepers in Volcano Manor to not damage
you in certain scenarios. Requires community testing.
69. Fixed an issue caused by staggering Seera while he was in mid-air.
70. Fixed an issue where the ballista would shoot you while the Stormveil Main Gate was
still closed.

71. Added 7 new ammunition types, all of which are craftable:
- Blightbone Arrow

72. Added a Memory Stone to the first mini-boss from a T2 Legacy Dungeon that you kill

73. Made the Memory Stones from the first mini-boss of the T1 Legacy Dungeons only
drop for the first kill of a T1 Legacy Dungeon mini-boss.
74. Increased the sell prices of the various tiers of Spell Runes:
- Faint Spell Rune: 200 → 1000
- Shimmering Spell Rune: 200 → 2000
- Glowing Spell Rune: 200 → 4000

75. Increased the sell prices of various Remembrances:

86. Made the Mirage Rise Map unobtainable, as it no longer reflects the correct locations
for the puzzle.
87. The rewards for defeating Dakk, Starcaller Lord will now be awarded after the area
reload instead of right before it.
88. Fixed an issue causing you to be unable to equip various Status Effect Immunity
talismans at the same time.
89. Potentially fixed an issue where people would crash if someone wore the Redmane
Knight Helmet while using Seamless Coop. Requires community testing.

Weapons
Bows and Crossbows have been extensively reworked:
90. Damage values of bows, in tandem with ammunition, have been changed to allow
the ammunition to fully determine the damage type and all damage types have been
focused into a single type per ammunition projectile.
91. The two-handing strength bonus has been removed from bows and crossbows.
92. Crossbows now have stat scaling.
93. All scaling values of bows and crossbows have been adjusted.
94. The Greatbow Ash of War “Through and Through” has been reworked - It is now
called “Titanic Shot” and it no longer penetrates enemies but instead completely
ignores shield blocking.
95. Tweaked the FP cost of all Bow and Crossbow Ashes of War.
96. Malenia’s Greatrune now works in combination with Bows and Crossbows.
97. The following pieces of ammunition now deal an additional 10% to skeleton enemies
and prevent them from resurrecting:
- Golden Arrow
- Haligbone Arrow
- Haligbone Arrow (fletched)
- Golden Great Arrow
- Golden Bolt
- Haligbone Bolt

98. New Weapon: Dyru’s Greatsword - Bought after obtaining Dyru’s remembrance.
99. New Weapon: Bloodflame Kamas - Bought from the Nomadic Merchant in Mohgwyn
Palace.
100. Monk Flameblade has received a new Weapon Skill.
101. Helphen’s Steeple has received a new Weapon Skill.
102. Gargoyle Twinblades has received a new Weapon Skill.
103. Gargoyle Black Blades has received a new Weapon Skill.
104. Thorn of the Guilty has received a new Weapon Skill.
105. Thorn of the Guilty’s old Weapon Skill has been turned into its Charged
Heavy Attack.
106. Sword of Milos has received a new animation for its Weapon Skill.
107. Sword of Milos now has unique heavy attacks.
108. Slightly sped up the 2 handed R1s of the Gilded Quarterstaff and Reaver’s
Odachi.
109. Increased the Poise values of the Kanabo’s Weapon Skill 1st attack.
110. Nerfed the Poise values of the Kanabo’s Weapon Skill 2nd, 3rd and 4th
attack.
111. Moved the Flowing Curved Sword to Lake of Rot.
112. Moved the Dismounter to Highroad Cave.
113. Moved the Weathered Straight Sword to be near the Warmaster’s Shack.
114. Moved the Nomad’s Kilij to Shabriri’s Chosen.
115. Moved the Zamor Star Mace to Caria Manor.
116. Moved the Gargoyle Twinblades to Leyndell, Royal Capital.
117. Moved the Godwyn’s Cragblades within Leyndell, Royal Capital.
118. Fixed an issue causing the Gravel Stone Seal to have the wrong damage
type.
119. Fixed an issue causing the Skill Alabaster Lords’ Pull to have the wrong
damage type.
120. Fixed an issue causing the Skill Nebula to have the wrong damage type.
121. Fixed an issue causing the Cleanrot Knight’s Sword to not have a hitbox
during certain attacks when paired with the Halo Scythe.
122. Fixed a visual issue on Zephyr Blades when using the Ash of War while 1
handing.
123. Fixed various issues with the Zephyr Blades’ damage values and hitboxes.
124. Fixed an issue causing the Bloodhound Claws to be unobtainable.
125. Fixed an issue causing the Marais Executioner Sword Ash of War to not have
the right FP cost.

Armor
126. The two Marksman T2 armor sets now have additional non-magic triggered
effects:

Page Set:
Page Hood - Found in a Caravan chest in Consecrated Snowfields
Increases STR and DEX by 2 and increases bow range by 7%.
If you do not have a weapon equipped with INT/FTH scaling, this item has the
following effect:
Sniper's Lethality - When you drink your wonderous physick, you gain an effect that
greatly increases your bow range, makes you much less likely to stagger and
decreases the stamina cost of your attacks and the FP cost of weapon skills by 50%
for 1 minute. Additionally, the next time you hit an enemy with an arrow or bolt, that
enemy's posture will be broken.

Page Garb - Found in Shaded Castle


Increases STR and DEX by 4 and increases bow range by 14%.
If you do not have a weapon equipped with INT/FTH scaling, this item has the
following effect:
Blood Trail - When you drink a crimson flask, you gain an effect that lasts for 2
minutes that causes your HP to recover by 3% per second for 45 seconds whenever
you hit an enemy with an arrow or bolt. The duration of the healing effect will be
refreshed each time an enemy is hit with an arrow or bolt.

Page Trousers - Found in Redmane Castle


Increases STR and DEX by 2 and increases bow range by 7%.
If you do not have a weapon equipped with INT/FTH scaling, this item has the
following effect:
Hunter's Defilade - When you drink a cerulean flask, you gain a buff that causes
enemy spells to deflect away from you and increases your total absorption by 20%
for 1 minute.

Page Gloves - Found in Tombsward Ruins


Increases STR and DEX by 2 and increases bow range by 7%.
If you do not have a weapon equipped with INT/FTH scaling, this item has the
following effect:
Deadeye - When you draw your bow or take aim with a crossbow, for each second
you hold it, you gain a buff that increases the damage of your next bolt or arrow shot
by 7%. This ability stacks up to a total of 21% after 3 seconds.

High Page Set:


High Page Hood - Found in Miquella's Haligtree Town
Increases STR and DEX by 2 and increases bow damage by 2%.
If you do not have a weapon equipped with INT/FTH scaling, this item has the
following effect:
Pincushion - When you drink your wondrous physick, you gain an effect that lasts for
2 minutes that causes a secondary effect each time you shoot an arrow or bolt, this
effect increases all damage you deal by 2% and can stack up to a total of 30%.
When the duration of the primary effect expires, all stacks will also end.

High Page Garb - Found in Leyndell, Royal Capital


Increases STR and DEX by 4 and increases bow damage by 4%.
If you do not have a weapon equipped with INT/FTH scaling, this item has the
following effect:
Replenishing Volley- When you drink a crimson flask, you gain an effect for 1 minute
that causes you to be healed by 5% of total HP each time you hit an enemy with an
arrow or bolt. While this is active, your shots will consume no ammunition.
High Page Trousers - Found in Unsightly Catacombs
Increases STR and DEX by 2 and increases bow damage by 2%.
If you do not have a weapon equipped with INT/FTH scaling, this item has the
following effect:
Smooth Draw - When you drink a blue flask, you gain a buff that causes you to
recover 10% total stamina for each time you hit an enemy with an arrow or bolt. Lasts
for 1 minute.

High Page Gloves - Found in Castle Morne


Increases STR and DEX by 2 and increases bow damage by 2%.
If you do not have a weapon equipped with INT/FTH scaling, this item has the
following effect:
Nimble Skirmisher - When you draw your bow or take aim with a crossbow, for each
second you hold it, you recover 4% of your total FP and 8% of your total SP.
Additionally, if you hold a shot for 3 or more seconds, you gain a buff that will cause
you to sprint automatically with no stamina consumption for 30 seconds.

127. The three Prisoner T2 armor sets now have additional triggered effects:

Drake Knight Set:


Drake Knight Helm - Found in Crumbling Farum Azula
Increases all stats by 1.
If you're rune level 1 you gain the following effects:
Grants an additional 1 Vig, 1 End, 1 Mind.
Master of All - When you drink your Flask of Wondrous Physick, you gain an effect
that increases all damage you deal, increases poise damage you deal, reduces the
stamina cost of attacks, decreases the FP cost of spells and decreases the FP cost
of weapons skills by 1% each time you perform an attack or cast a spell. This effect
stacks up to a total of 25% and lasts for 2 minutes. When the primary effect ends, all
stacks will also end.
Additionally, while active, each time you perform an attack or cast a spell, 5% of your
total HP, FP and stamina are recovered.

Drake Knight Armor - Found in Castle Sol


Increases all stats by 2.
If you're rune level 1 you gain the following effects:
Grants an additional 1 Vig, 1 End, 1 Mind.
Drake's Dynamism - When you drink a crimson flask, the resource cost of your next 3
attacks or spells is reduced by 100%.
Additionally, you gain 25% increased absorption and become less likely to be
staggered until the third attack or spell is performed.

Drake Knight Greaves - Obtained at the Cathedral of Dragon Communion


Increases all stats by 1.
If you're rune level 1 you gain the following effects:
Grants an additional 1 Vig, 1 End, 1 Mind.
Dimensional Shift - When you drink a cerulean flask, you become invulnerable for 10
seconds or until you perform your next attack, spell or jump.

Drake Knight Gauntlets - Found in Dragon-Burnt Ruins


Increases all stats by 1.
If you're rune level 1 you gain the following effects:
Grants an additional 1 Vig, 1 End, 1 Mind.
Rhythm of War - Whenever you perform a non-spell attack or jump, you gain an
effect that increases the damage of your spells by 10%. While this is active,
whenever you cast spells, you recover 5% total HP. This effect lasts for 7 seconds.
Whenever you cast a spell, you gain an effect that increases the damage of your
non-spell attacks by 10%. While this is active, whenever you perform non-spell
attacks, you recover 5% total FP. This effect lasts for 7 seconds.

Eccentric’s Set:
Eccentric's Hood - Found in Heretical Rise
Increases STR, DEX, VIG by 1 and END by 3.
If you're rune level 1 you gain the following effects:
You gain an additional 1 STR, 1 DEX and 1 VIG
Thrill of Battle - When you drink your physick, you gain a buff that causes you to gain
1 STR, 1 DEX, 1 END, 1 VIG and 1 Mind whenever you dodge, jump, hit an enemy
with a melee attack, hit an enemy with an arrow or bolt or block. This stacks unlimited
times. Lasts for 2 minutes. When the primary duration ends, all stacks will also end.

Eccentric’s Armor - Found in Redmane Castle


Increases STR, DEX, VIG by 2 and END by 4.
If you're rune level 1 you gain the following effects:
You gain an additional 1 STR, 1 DEX and 1 VIG.
Esoteric Rancor - When you drink a crimson flask you gain an effect that increases
your weapon damage by 15% and reduces the FP cost of weapon skills by 100% for
1 minute.

Eccentric's Breeches - Found ind Caria Manor


Increases STR, DEX, VIG by 1 and END by 3.
If you're rune level 1 you gain the following effects:
You gain an additional 1 STR, 1 DEX, 1 VIG.
Witchbane Conversion - - When you drink a blue flask, you gain a buff that
increases your poise damage by 15% and grants 3% HP recovery per second for 1
minute.

Eccentric's Manchettes - Found in Witchbane Ruins


Increases STR, DEX, VIG by 1 and END by 3.
If you're rune level 1 you gain the following effects:
You gain an additional 1 STR, 1 DEX, 1 VIG.
Outcast's Abandon - When you use a grease, you gain an effect that reduces the
stamina cost of attacks by 50% and your total absorption is increased by 15% for 1
minute.
All-Knowing Set:
All-Knowing Helm - Given by Gideon after discovering Mohgwyn Dynasty
Mausoleum
Increases INT, FTH, ARC by 1 and Mind by 3.
If you're rune level 1 you gain the following effects:
You gain an additional 1 INT, 1 FTH and 1 ARC.
Enlightenment - When you drink your physick, you gain 7 INT, FTH, ARC, END, VIG
and Mind for 2 minutes.

All-Knowing Armor - Found in Leyndell, Royal Capital


Increases INT, FTH, ARC by 2 and Mind by 4.
If you're rune level 1 you gain the following effects:
You gain an additional 1 Int, 1 Fth and 1 Arc.
Kinetic Enervation - When you drink a crimson flask, you gain an effect that causes
you to instantly recover 5% of total stamina whenever you dodge or jump.
Additionally, whenever you dodge or jump, you gain a 2% increase in all spell
damage, stacking up to a total of 40%. Lasts for 1 minute. When the primary effect
ends, all stacks will also end.

All-Knowing Greaves - Found in Academy Crystal Cave


Increases INT, FTH, ARC by 1 and Mind by 3.
If you're rune level 1 you gain the following effects:
You gain an additional 1 INT, 1 FTH and 1 ARC.
Apt Pupil - When you drink a cerulean flask, you gain 40 casting speed and 10
additional stamina recovery for 1 minute.

All-Knowing Gauntlets - Found in Fort Haight


Increases INT, FTH, ARC by 1 and Mind by 3.
If you're rune level 1 you gain the following effects:
You gain an additional 1 Int, 1 Fth and 1 Arc.
Cantrip Proficiency - Whenever you cast a spell, you recover 3 FP points and 5%
total HP.

128. Added unique Armor Abilities to the following helmets:

Cerulean Tear Scarab - Found in Sellia, Town of Sorcery


Mindful Recovery - When you drink a blue flask, you gain a buff that gives you 3 FP/s
for 60 seconds.

Crimson Tear Scarab - Found in Volcano Manor


Invigorating Flavor - When you drink a crimson flask, you gain a buff that gives you
30 HP/s for 30 seconds.

129. Removed the ability to circumvent deaths from falling at great height while
under the effect of the Raging Wolf Helmet or Lionel’s Helmet.
Spells
130. Energy Shell has been remastered. It will now prevent any HP damage taken
while it is active and reduce your FP based on the amount of HP damage you would
have taken. It has lost its secondary benefits of increased Stamina and Absorption. It
now lasts indefinitely until dispelled or until you reach 0 FP.
131. Three Finger’s Embrace now causes you to take no FP or HP damage when
madness procs on you.
132. Perpetual or Legendary Enchantment now costs 0 FP to disable.
133. Removed the ability to circumvent death from falling at great height while
under the effect of Phoenix of Death’s Death Ward.
134. Increase the FP Cost of the following spells:
- Godwyn’s Vengeance: 0 → 22
- Bestial Fervor: 0 → 24
135. Fixed an issue causing Cloud Form and similar effects to cause unintended
behavior while locked on and strafing during stances.
136. Fixed an issue causing Night Maiden’s Mist and Night Maiden’s Fog to not be
increased by the Midnight Dagger.
