School/ Study
1. Do you get along with your classmates? I get along well with my classmates. We
often play sports and travel together in our free time
2. Why did you choose to study here? I chose to study at Vinh Long University of
Technology Education because it is near my home. It’s a famous university with the
deversity of fields. Therefore, students easily get jobs after graduation.
3. What things do you like most when you study at your school? The things I like most
when I study at my school are that the school fee is reasonable, the facilities are modern,
the teaching staff has good qualifications.
4. What things do you dislike when you study at your school? There are some things I
don't like: having to wake up early to go to school, lots of homework makes me stressed
5. What would you like to do in the future? In the future I want to become an automotive
engineer.
6. What are your favorite classes/ courses/ subjects at university? My favorite subject in
college is automotive internship.
Festival and parties
1. Do you prefer staying at home or going out during the festival/holiday? Why? I prefer
staying at home during the holiday because I want to spend more time with my family.
2. Do you think festivals/parties are important? Why? In my opinion, I think festivals or
parties are very important for people and families because it is an opportunity for them to
gather to eat, drink and have fun together
3. Do you like family parties or parties given by friends? Why? I like family parties.
Because I think meeting each other on such occasions will definitely help family
members bond more.
4. Which is your favorite festival? My favourite festival is Tet because it is a chance for
family members to have a party, let's celebrate New Year's Eve together.
5. How often do you go to a party? Yes, I often go to wedding parties and friends'
birthday parties
6. Why do some people hate parties? Some people hate parties because parties often have
loud music that makes them feel uncomfortable.

Benefits of reading books (Unit 12)
Whenever I have free time, I often read books because this hobby gives me a lot of
benefits. Firstly, reading makes me feel relaxed after many stressful hours at school.
I really like comics because it contains very colorful and interesting pictures that
keep my spirit relaxed. Secondly, reading is a good way to improve vocabulary and
grammar. In conclusion, it’s undeniable that books play a vital part of life. And if
you want to gain success, read a lot of books.
Your dream house (Unit 13)
My dream house is a villa. It is located near the sea. My house has 8 rooms: 3
bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, a living room and there is a garage next to my
house where I keep my car. My dream house is surrounded by blue sea, white sand,
flowers and rows of coconut trees. In my house there are many essential items and
outdoor swimming pool to relax. I am trying my best in studying to one day make
my dream house come true.
A piece of clothing I like:
I will talk about my favorite shirt. A few years ago I bought it for 60,000 VND at a
second-hand store in Saigon. In that store there were many different types of clothes
but that t-shirt attracted me. The t-shirt is red and black with my favorite
basketball player printed on it. I often wear this shirt when going out and drinking
coffee with friends. The reason I like this shirt because it has a number printed on it
that matches my birth year, so I feel it is very special to me.
