That day.
I used to miss my family, I remember them like the most beautiful thing
in the world, they were lovely, they listened me, they supported me, but
one day.
They stopped, I remember I wasn’t the perfect boy, or the perfect kid,
but I love them, I course I did, everything I have donne, every family I
hurt.
Do my family have reasons to hate me? I don’t think so, everything I
have given to them, everything I have sacrificed, just to be abandoned?
If only that day they haven’t been there, they weren't supposed to be
there, they have seen me.
They saw me doing inhuman things, things they would never forgive me
for.
So, I was supposed to be abandoned?
Apearrances
Chapter 1
It’s my first day alive, I felt the sun on my skin, the wind under my wings
my brothers and sisters were singing, but for my not everyhing was fine,
there was a sinester aura, I felt strange, watched by one of my brothers,
he wasn’t singing or happy, he was just looking as if he was planning
something, but maybe it’s just me, he is my brother after all.
My mother was there, watching us, happy of course, she had made
every effort so that we were well, in a good nest, surrounded by nature
so that man could not reach us.
For a blue macaw, I definitely have a good life.
The days have passed, we have grown a little, our feathers have begun
to come out, we already have them but not enough to take flight, our
mother gives us recommendations on what we should and shouldn't do.
“Dear children, listen carefully to mom:
Always eat your fresh seeds and look for fruits or vegetables that mom
gives you. Do not eat strange things from the ground!
Do not stray too far from the cage or nest, especially if we are in a large
place. There are dangers out there, such as cats or open windows.
Practice your song every day. The world needs to hear how beautiful our
trills are! But be careful, do not overexert yourself; everything in its own
time.
Always drink clean water. Mom changes the water so it does not get
dirty, and you should take advantage of it.
Never be afraid to fly, but do so carefully. If you feel insecure, watch how
mom does it, I will teach you!
Do not bother your siblings. Sharing space and perches is important to
live in harmony.
If something feels dangerous or unknown, call mom. I will be there to
protect and guide you.
Remember: we are beautiful and free-spirited birds. Make the most of
every day to be happy and enjoy the sun, the colors and the songs.”
Chapter 2.
It’s been a month since we were born my mother finally gives u sour
names my siblings names are Joan his a Little thing but we love him cus
he is the funniest, Meredith she is the only girl between us, and Lucian
the big one and my name is Charlie, all are beautiful names, our mama’
is very creative, this week has been really good one a lot of things have
happened, my brothers and sister are very funny but also very
intelligent, remember my big brother? He was just ashamed, he’s big but
he have a good hearth
The bigger you are, the bigger your heart is, that's what my brother has
taught me
Chapter 3.
It's 6 in the morning, at this time I would normally be asleep, but I have
discovered something, the god who lights up the days wakes up at this
time, I can see the beautiful colors of the morning, the god begins to
light up.
After seeing this beautiful phenomenon, it's time to go to sleep again,
after all I'm just a chick and I need to rest.
Strangely I couldn't fall asleep, I felt like something was telling me not to
sleep as if something was going to happen, but I didn't give it any
importance and decided to make an effort to sleep.
After an hour of sleeping, I started to hear strange noises around the
nest, I started to hear the screams of my brothers, that's when I realized
that my mother was no longer there, something had happened to her
but what was it?
After asking my brothers what had happened, it seemed that some
strange hairless primate hands had reached our nest, they tried to take
my brothers but our mother sacrificed herself for us.
After talking to my brothers and asking them where those hairless apes
were headed, I began to prepare myself and stretch my wings. My
brothers asked me if I was crazy for trying to do something against those
things, and maybe I am, but she's my mother and I couldn't leave her to
her fate.
After flying for a while I managed to see the iron machine in which they
were taking my mother, but surprisingly it wasn't just my mother there,
there were more animals, there were hedgehogs, monkeys, and more
birds.
Chapter 4.
After a day planning how to rescue my mother, I realized that I was not
the only one behind the iron machine that was there, there were entire
families planning a revolt, I joined them, we were many animals together
for the same cause, at night the plan would be carried out, the big
animals would go against the hairless apes, and the little ones would do
what we could to free our relatives.
It's 12 o'clock at night, I'm tired, but the revolt will soon begin, the apes
are preparing to jump, I was afraid but my desire to save my mother was
greater.
Then, the time came, all the apes jumped and began to hit those other
hairless apes, we the little ones immediately began to do everything
possible to get our relatives out, we threw the cages to the floor, some
with the impact of the floor opened others, with the help of the wild pigs
they opened, there she was, my mother, she began to cry when she saw
me, I was happy but I still had to get her out of that cage, first we threw
it to the floor but it wouldn't open, then with the help of the pigs, we
managed to open the locks, I hugged my mother as soon as I could, but
something happened, we began to hear noises, like those when
coconuts fall from the palms, but much louder and we began to see
sparkles like those of the god that lights up the days, something was
happening, some apes fell to the floor, that's when I realized that we had
to leave, we were about to leave the area, we flew for a long time
We arrived home, my brothers were surprised and happy, they thought
we wouldn't make it home safely.
But yes, we managed to get there healthy, right?
I began to feel a very strong pain in one of my sides, it seemed I was
bleeding, something had hit me, I began to faint, after a short time, I
died.
I couldn't hear my brothers or my mother, they were there sad, but I
couldn't even speak and slowly I began to stop seeing them, was that
how my short life ended?
Yes, I died for a good cause, saving my mother, indirectly making it
possible for my brothers and other animals to enjoy their rescued
relatives, sometimes the reason goes beyond reality
However, freedom comes at a price. Even though I couldn’t return home
with my family, I know that my sacrifice meant something. My mother,
my siblings, and the others we managed to free will have a chance to
live without chains, to be free as they were always meant to be.
Perhaps I didn’t have a happy ending, but my life was not in vain.
Sometimes, one’s purpose is not to live forever but to do something that
transcends, something that makes a difference. For me, it was fighting
for the freedom and love of my own, leaving behind a legacy that isn’t
measured by time but by meaning. And in that legacy, I find peace.
The end.
