ENGLISH LANGUAGE:
1. Write about the thrill of an unexpected experience in your life. Narrate the details of the experience and
write why it has become memorable in your life.
2. Write a letter to the Director of a television channel complaining about the quality of the programmes
telecast. Suggest ways to improve the programmes.

ENGLISH LITERATURE:
1. Write 20 Idioms with their meaning. Frame sentences with them.
2. Critical analysis of R .K .Narayan’s story, Swami and the Sum.

MATHEMATICS

1. Do Revision Exercise-1(page N-32) .


2. Explain Fractions and write different types of fractions with one example of each.
3. Practice all the chapters taught in class.

Note: Do all work in Mathematics fair notebook.

PHYSICS
1. Describe any four kinds of motion with example for each kind.
2. Write at least six points to differentiate between mass and weight.
3. Draw figures of regular plane shapes and solids shapes also write their formulae to find area and volume.
4. Explain uniform and non- uniform motions.

CHEMISTRY
1. Make a table of ten objects in our surroundings and classify them in solid, liquid and gas.
Also write their characteristics on the basis given below.
(i) Arrangement of molecules
(ii) Intermolecular space
(iii) Intermolecular force
2. Write at least ten changes after observing from surroundings and classify as physical and chemical change.
3. Read chapter and prepare all the exercises of completed chapters

BIOLOGY

Q 1. Write five kingdom classification suggested by R. H. Whittaker and write two important characteristics of
each of the five kingdom.
Q2. Collect pictures of at least 5 common plants and animals found in your area. Paste pictures and write their
scientific name.
NOTE: Do all work in biology notebook.

HISTORY/ CIVICS
1. Do map work of chapter 01; show the extent of Christianity in Physical World Map.
2. Draw/Paste pictures of Life of Jesus Christ and write his teachings.
3. Learn and write the definitions given in History Chapter 3 on page no. 21.
Note: Do all work in Subject Note Book.

GEOGRAPHY
1. Draw the colour symbols and the conventional symbols on art sheet
2. Collect the information and pictures from newspapers and magazines and prepare a chart on global warming
representing its causes, effects and control.
3. Make a model on any one of the following
a. Composition of atmosphere
b. Structure of atmosphere
4. Do the activity project work of chapter 1 in your Geography notebook.
5. Read and learn the taught chapters thoroughly.

COMPUTER

1: Make the block diagram of the CPU and explain all the parts of it. (Do it on coloured chart paper)
2: Search and write about Topic- Cloud Storage in detail. (Do it in a computer fair notebook)
