Luciano Pavarotti
Luciano Pavarotti was an Italian lyrical singer. He was
born in the city of Modena on October 12, 1935. His father
Fernando Pavarotti encouraged Luciano to begin his studies in
the world of lyrical singing. Luciano was married several times
and had 5 children.
      At the age of 28, he began his career as a Professional
Singer and is considered the best tenor in recent times, he
stood out in performing operas such as Lucia di Lammermoor,
La fille du régiment, La Traviata, Il Trovatore, Rigoletto, L'elisir
d'amore, I Puritani, La sonnambula, Maria Stuarda, Beatrice di
Tenda, Turandot, La Boheme and Madame Butterfly.
      Luciano died on September 6, 2007 from pancreatic
cancer. He was buried in the Montale Rangone cemetery near
his villa, on the outskirts of the city of Modena.
