LEARNING EXPERIENCES
1. Group Paced Learning
Students follow a fixed class schedule at least once to twice a
month on Saturdays to meet their tutors for discussion, seminars,
symposia, and/or conferences to enrich their learning experience.
Students are expected to submit written assignments, and sit in
supervised examinations at the University.

2. Self-Paced or Individualized
A student is provided with his/her own tutor and a class schedule.
Modules, independent researches and other instructional
materials are laid down by the tutors who help the student
enhance his/her knowledge, skills and attitudes. The student is
required to visit the University as scheduled.

3. Online Learning
A student is provided with his/her own tutor online and a class
schedule. Tutors utilize an open source learning management
system (LMS) as virtual classroom and other communication
tools available today. The student may process his/her
requirements and exams via online.

Sec. 1 The institution adopts the Bilingual Education Policy
Filipino
English
Specifically, this means that Filipino and English shall be used as
mediums of instruction in definite subjects taking into account the
nature of the discipline and the learners' needs.
Sec. 2 Faculty members shall express themselves fluently in English.
Outside the classroom, faculty members are encouraged to maintain
conversations in English, especially when talking to students.
Evaluating Student Performance
Sec. 1 Faculty members should evaluate students' performance objectively
by constructing valid and reliable tests and examinations.
Sec. 2 For classes with departmental exams, questions for the midterm and
final examinations shall be submitted to the Program Chair at least two
weeks before the scheduled date of examination.
Sec. 3 All quizzes and tests should be returned promptly to the students
after the test for immediate feedback.
Evaluating Student Performance
Sec. 4 A new set of questions must be prepared for a special midterm or
final examination should this be needed.
Sec. 5 Exemptions from taking the final examinations may be extended to
deserving students with a tentative grade of 95 or better.
Sec. 6 Faculty members shall strictly observe the limitation on co curricular
and extra-curricular activities as provided in the student handbook. who seek
assistance for the proper course of action to be taken to improve their
performance. They should give regular feedback to the students.
Evaluating Student Performance
Sec. 7 Course instructors/ professors shall identify students with
academic difficulty such as those failing a midterm examination,
having excessive absences, failing to submit a required paper and
others, and inform them of their class standing.
Instructors/Professors shall empathize with students who seek
assistance for the proper course of action to be taken to improve
their performance. They should give regular feedback to the
students.
