Potluri Phani Ratna Kumar (IIT B.Tech, MBA USA) - CEO
He holds the prestigious Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai. He then pursued his management degree at the Babcock Graduate School of Management, Wake Forest University, North Carolina, USA.
He has over 14 years of extensive management and consulting experience in industries ranging from retail to technology. He has held various management positions at Burlington Industries - USA, Mafatlal Burlington Industries - India Arvind Mafatlal Group-India, Hayat Group Middle East.
He then took over his fathers legacy business in petroleum sector inclusive of retailing and maintenance of on shore drilling rigs. He grew this business into a Rupees 400 million business in the span of six years. His diversified business experience in the electrical field exceeds 10 years He brings together a powerful combination of entrepreneurial skills and business development expertise to create an exciting era of growth for the company. At BEYOND LITE, he provides valuable inputs for corporate strategy and business development and is entirely responsible for the LED business.

Badarla Veera Venkata Ramana - Promoter
He hails from Machilipatnam in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He holds a degree in Electronics Engineering. He has entrepreneurial business experience spanning over two decades. His diversified business combined turnover exceeds Rupees 200 million. He started his entrepreneurial business with marketing and trading in Electronics and Communication Equipments for the whole of South India. He then moved on to handling all government based projects including of Municipal Corporations across the state of Andhra Pradesh. He also then entered the hospitality industry with the construction and management of a 3 star type based hotel in Hyderabad. He is also presently the Chairman of two private companies, which are joint ventures with a Dubai based company. At BEYOND LITE, he provides valuable inputs in finance and human resources.
Akkineni Siva Rama Krishna Prasad- Promoter
He hails from Nuziveedu in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He holds a diploma in LME. He has over 24 years of extensive management and engineering experience in the infrastructure and construction industry. At BEYOND LITE, he provides valuable inputs for marketing and channel relationships.

About Us
During the years 2007-2011, the founders travelled extensively in search of good energy efficient LED lighting as they felt that it is the one of the technologies which will drive the future of lighting in India. BEYOND LITE prioritized various partners based on practicality and technical supremacy. On 5th of May 2011, Beyond Lite started its operations in Hyderabad, India with focus on both Indoor and Outdoor LED lighting. We continue the process till date on finding the OEMs, LED manufacturers, and, LED technology patent holders who will help us redefine the LED lighting landscape in India. The founders combined total diversified business turnover exceeds USD 15 million as on 31st March 2011. We had identified a technologically advanced design based on a Globally Patented Screw & Lock Design with 3D Thermal Management. This design is patented by BrightLite Systems, Singapore. We also identified an advanced optics design, again globally patented by Zhihai Lighting, Germany which enhanced the pole spacing without compromising on average illumination for outdoor lighting. At present we have a sales pipeline exceeding USD 2 million for the year 2011-12.
