Midterm Reflection: Wellness Plan

First Year Seminar

1. One a scale of 1-10, how has this semester been going for you? What’s been going
well? What’s not going as well as you had hoped? Set an actionable goal to try to
improve one area in your life by the end of the semester.
Ans: On the scale of 1-10 I think I would rate it 8. The things that are on the
greater side would be that i have gained a lot of support from my friends and
family, I was looking for a job and I got one too. And about the harder part would
be that there is a lot of things to think about and deal with and due to lack of
time and experience it has been kinda tough for me to do that. I think I will try
to push more harder and make myself even more independent. I will try to finish
everything on time too things has not been smooth lately so I will try to do
everything smoothly as well.

2. What information haven’t we covered in EHS 119 that you wish we would before the
end of the semester? What would be helpful for you?
Ans: I think this class has made me much more informative and one thing that I
would love to know about is CPT and OPT. I think that would be helpful for many of
the students.

3. Is there anything I can do to help support you better in the second half of the
semester? Please explain.
Ans: I think you’re a brilliant teacher Laura. As far as I know you have been
really helpful to everyone in the class. You can just do what you are doing on the
second half as well and everything would be perfect.

4. Choose a picture from the internet that describes your mental health/overall
wellbeing. Select a second photo that depicts where you want your mental
health/overall wellbeing to be. Consider areas of wellbeing we’ve talked about this
semester – academic, emotional, social, financial, spiritual, physical, etc. Paste
each photograph (small size) into your paper and explain why you selected it, how
it resonates with your current or future mental health, and the impact it has on
you. Set one actionable goal that will help move in the direction you want your
mental health/wellbeing to be.

My mental state now cause I am confused about tons of things at the present. I am
