Surface Safety Valve


1. General
Surface safety valve (SSV) is a hydraulically actuated
fail-safe gate valve for testing oil and gas well with high
flow rates, high pressures, or the pressure of H2S. The
surface safety valve (SSV) is used to quickly shut down
the well choke manifold upstream in the event of
overpressure, failure, a leak in downstream equipment,
or any other well emergency requiring an immediate
shut down
The pressure needed to keep the valve open can be
provided with a simple hand pump which, in an
emergency, is bled off on the rig floor. However, a more
sophisticated system called an emergency shut down
(ESD) is recommended because it allows the actuator to
be activated remotely

5. INSPECTION, QUALITY CERTIFICATE AND AFTER-SALE SERVICE


5.1 Inspection
We adopt factory inspection and on-site inspection. If the product passes on-site inspection, it will enter
warranty period. The inspection conforms to the protocol signed by the two parties and product
manufacturing standard. Any kind of third party inspection is acceptable.

5.2 Quality Certificate


 All the equipment are manufactured according to ISO9001 and API standard
 Warranty period is 18 months after receiving the goods or 12 months after operation. If there are
quality problems within warranty period, the supplier is responsible for solving problems in time at any
time.
 If failure and potential safety hazard appear during operation because of designing defect, the supplier
will improve the equipment for free.
 We will provide complete high quality technical document and brochure of the whole equipment in
English.

5.3 Documentations
 Traceability Documents: (Including Raw Material Test Certificate, NDT Report, Pressure Test Report,
etc.)
