2 Yes, I had two friends who went to study to get their second bachelor’s degree abroad,
one went to Canada, another to South Korea. Their experience seemed to be positive
despite differences in culture and general approach to studying. From what I heard
from them, foreign universities often have more after-class activities than ukrainian
ones and offer more up-to-date knowledge.
3 In the present day the quality and access to education varies across different
countries. One may opt in to studying abroad after catching the local educational
system lacking or due to inability or unwilingness to take on student loans to finance
education at their home country. Additionally, a person may want to emigrate to a
particular region or country and to do that, they will need a stable source of income
there. A good way to obtain it is to study in the said country, as employers in it will be
more likely to favor foreign workers with a predictable level of knowledge and
community integration, that have been staying in the country legally for some time and
studied in it.
4 A person might become more open-minded after engaging with the community
abroad, however they might also feel lonely or isolated at first, especially if they’re not
bringing any friends to study with them, which is often the case.
