Taylor Swift is a famous American singer and musician. She plays the guitar, the piano and the ukulele. Her favourite
type of music is country.
When Taylor was a child, she didn’t like school. She loved music. She started playing the guitar when she was 12
years old. Then, she started writing songs. When she was 14, her family moved to Nashville – the home of country
music. She really liked this kind of music!
In 2006 at the age of 16, Taylor made her first album, ‘Taylor Swift’, and she became famous. Two years later, she
made her second album, ‘Fearless’. In 2009, she performed in North America and Europe, and the following year, she
travelled to Australia and Asia. In 2010, she won four Grammy Awards for her album ‘Fearless’. Taylor made her
third album in 2010 and her fourth album in 2012. Her fifth album came out in 2014. They were all a great success!
