battle conditions.
{UI_ADVICE_CUSTOM_FACTION} Click the faction symbol next
to the player name to change faction using the small arrows or by selecting a
faction from the list on the right.
{UI_ADVICE_CUSTOM_ARMY} Drag unit cards from the top list
to the bottom list to add units to your army. The first slot is reserved for the
generals unit. Select the faction symbols to view the other armies.
{UI_ADVICE_PROVINCIAL_CAMPAIGN} Select a campaign from
the list on the left. The description will appear in the box on the right if one
exists. The word 'Custom' indicates a campaign that has been edited.
{UI_ADVICE_PROVINCIAL_CAMPAIGN_FACTION} Select a faction
symbol to choose your faction. Grey symbols represent non-playable factions. There
are drop-down menus for choosing advice and difficulty level.

three main Roman factions, Julii, Scipii and Brutii. There are drop-down menus for
choosing advice and difficulty level .
{UI_ADVICE_HISTORICAL_BATTLE} Select a historical battle
from the list on the left. The description of the battle will appear in the box on
the right if one exists. The word 'Custom' indicates a battle that has been edited.
{UI_ADVICE_HISTORICAL_BATTLE_FACTION} Click the faction
symbols to view each factions army. Select a faction symbol to choose your faction.
{UI_ADVICE_MULTIPLAYER} Enter an online name in the the
text box. Select Online battles for Internet play or Lan battles for Local area
play.
{UI_ADVICE_MULTIPLAYER_LAN} Select a game from the list.
Click on the list headers to sort by category. Use the buttons on the right to join
as a player, join as a spectator, host a new game or refresh the list.
{UI_ADVICE_MULTIPLAYER_LAN_HOST} Enter the name of the
game to be hosted. Adding a joining password is optional. The Max players dictates
the entry limit for players joining.
{UI_ADVICE_LOAD_GAME} Choose to load a previous campaign
save game, custom battle setup or battle replay.
{UI_ADVICE_LOAD_GENERIC} Select a previous save game
from the list. Double-click to load or use the load button.
{UI_ADVICE_OPTIONS} This is the options menu. Here you
can adjust each aspect of the game and also view the credits.
{UI_ADVICE_OPTIONS_VIDEO} Use the drop-down menus to
change the display options and the arrow on the right to apply the changes.
{UI_ADVICE_OPTIONS_AUDIO} Use the sliders to adjust the
volume of each element of the sound.
{UI_ADVICE_OPTIONS_KEYS} Select a shortcut from the
list and re-assign a key to the shortcut. Modifiers can be used and up to two keys
can be assigned per shortcut.
{UI_ADVICE_OPTIONS_GAME} These are the gameplay
options. Choose the level of realism for the battles and campaigns.
{UI_ADVICE_OPTIONS_EDITORS} The editors allow creation
and editing of new battles and campaigns.

map for the battlefield using the cursor. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor
