Unit 1: Leisure time

Hello everyone, I want to share some of my favorite leisure activities with you all. I’m really
fond of cooking, especially baking cookies with my mom on weekends. There’s something
so satisfying about mixing ingredients and watching them transform into delicious treats.

I’m also interested in doing DIY projects. I love getting creative with materials around the
house and making something unique. Recently, I built a birdhouse for our backyard. It was
such a fun experience.

Another leisure activity I enjoy is reading books. My favorite kinds of books are science
fiction and history. I can find a lot of knowledges from reading books. It also helps me relax
after a tiring day.

Messaging friends is another thing I’m crazy about. I love staying connected with my
buddies, sharing jokes and just chatting about anything and everything. It’s a great way to
unwind after a long day at school.

So yeah, those are some of the leisure activities that keep me busy and happy! What about

Unit 2: Life in the countryside

I want to share a bit about what life is like here in the countryside where I live. It's a world
away from the hustle and bustle of the city, filled with its own unique traditions. One of the
first things you notice here is the picturesque landscape, especially during sunrise or sunset
when the sky lights up with vibrant colors.

My family and many others in the community are involved in farming. During harvest season,
you will often see us unloading rice from the trucks and bringing it to the storage barns. It's
hard work, but there's a sense of satisfaction in knowing that we're providing food for our
families and others.

On our farm, we also have cows and pigs. Milking cows is a daily chore, but it’s also a
peaceful and calming activity. And feeding the pigs is always an adventure, especially they
get excited and start oinking and snorting.

Another aspect of countryside life that I love is fishing. We're lucky to have rivers and
streams nearby teeming with fish. There's a real sense of excitement when you cast your line
and wait for a bite.

But perhaps what I love most about life in the countryside is the sense of community and
hospitality. Neighbors look out each other, and there's always a helping hand when you need
it. Whether it's lending tools, sharing a meal, or simply stopping by for a chat, there's a
warmth here that you don't often find elsewhere.

So yeah, life in the countryside maybe simple, but it’s also rich and fulfilling in its own way.
It’s a place where nature thrives, traditions endure, and community flourishes. And for me,
there’s no place I’d rather call home.
 Unit 3: Teenager
Today I want to talk about something that affects a lot of us: teenagers’ stress. It’s something we all
experience at some point, and it’s important to know that there are ways to cope with it.

First, let’s talk about where stress comes from. For many of us, it’s schoolwork. We have tests,
assignments and projects piling up, and it can feel overwhelming. Sometimes, the pressure to do well
in school make it hard to concentrate in class.

But not just schoolwork that stresses us out. Bullying can play a big role. Whether it’s in person or
online, bullying can have a serious impact on our mental health. It can make us feel isolated and alone,
and it’s important to speak up and seek help when we’re being bullied.

But there are ways to cope with stress. One way is by finding a support system, whether it’s through a
club, a forum or just talking with your fiends and family. Being a part of community where we feel
understood and supported can make a big difference.

Another solution is to find healthy ways to manage our stress. This could be through exercise, art or
just taking a break and doing something we enjoy. Finding activities help us relax and unwind can
make it easier to cope with stress when it does come up.

Finally, it’s important to remember that it’s okay to ask for help. Whether it’s from a teacher, a parent
or a counselor, there are people who care about us and want to help us succeed. So if you’re feeling
stressed, don’t be afraid to reach out and ask for support.

Unit 4 : Ethnic groups of Vietnam

Today I’m excited to share with you about the fascinating lifestyles and traditons of ethnic
groups in Vietnam. There are so many diverse culture to explore, each with its own unique
customs and practices.

One of the central aspects of many ethnic groups in vn is the communal house. This is a place
where the community gathers for important events, celebrations, and meetings. It serves as a
symbol of unity and togetherness.

Another interesting tradition is the traditional costume. Different ethnic groups have their own
distinct styles of clothing, often characterized by vibrant colors., intricate patterns and
handwoven fabrics. These costumes reflect the rich cultural heritage of each group.

Music plays an important role in the traditions of many ethnic groups., with instruments like
the gong, flute, and other traditional instruments being used in ceremonies, festivals and
celebrations. Folk dances and performances are another aspect of ethnic groups traditions.
These dances often tell stories or convey messages about the community’s history, values, and
beliefs.

Finally, agriculture is central to the way of life for many ethnic minority groups in Vietnam.
They rely on traditional farming methods to grow such as rice, corn, and tea in highland
regions.
Overall, the lifestyke and traditions of ethnic groups in VN are diverse and rich in culture.

Unit 5: Our customs and traditions

Today I want to share with you a special family event that happens in Vietnam. It’s called the
“Ông Công, Ông Táo” ceremony, and it’s all about honoring our ancestors and ensuring
prosperity for the upcoming year.

During the ceremony, families come together to pray and worship the Kitchen Gods, Ông
Công and Ông Táo, who watch over the household. We offer incense, fruits, and food as
offerings to show our respect to them.

One interesting tradition during this ceremony involves releasing carp into nearby bodies of
water. It’s believed that the carp will transform into dragons and carry our prayers and wishes
to the heavens, ensuring good luck and blessings for the family.

The ceremony is also a time for family reunion. It’s a chance for us to gather with our loved
ones, share stories and enjoy delicious food together. It’s a heartwarming moment of
togetherness and bonding.

In this ceremony, we also perform rituals to ward off bad spirits and negative energies from
our homes. By doing so, we ensure that our family is protected and that only positivity
surrounds us.

often reflect the history, traditions, and values of the people who sing them.

So, how can we maintain folk songs? Well, one way is through preservation efforts. We can
record and document folk songs to ensure that they don't perish over time. We can use
technology such as audio or video recording to record these songs and make them accessible
to future generations.

Another important way to maintain folk songs is through education. We can teach younger

Let's talk about something super important: environmental protection, it's all about taking care
of our planet and the creatures that call it home.

fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas. This can lead to something called the "carbon footprint,".
Too much carbon dioxide can contribute to climate change, which affects our weather
patterns and ecosystems.

Many species around the world are facing extinction due to habitat destruction, pollution, and
other human activities. We need to take action to protect these endangered species and their
habitats before it's too late.

One way we can help is by reducing our single-use plastic consumption. Things like plastic
bags, bottles, and straws are used once and then thrown away, often ending up in our oceans
and harming marine life. By using reusable alternatives and recycling, we can reduce the
amount of plastic pollution in our environment.

Another important aspect of environmental protection is preserving our forests and green
spaces. Trees produce oxygen, which we need to breathe, and they also provide habitats for a
lot of species of plants and animals. By planting trees and protecting our forests, we can help

Unit 8: Shopping
Today, I'm excited to share with you my favorite kind of shopping- online shopping.

Firstly, online shopping is convenient. It is suitable for people who are too busy to go out or
just enjoy the convenience of ordering things online. With internet access, you can purchase
anything at anytime, from anywhere. It helps you save the trouble of traveling, time and
money.

Secondly, online shopping is easy, you only visit a seller’s website, select the product you
want to buy and oder it.

Thirdly, you can buy cheaper items than shopping offline. There are many different shops and
you can compare the prices and decide which shops you want.

In addition, you can pay online or when you get products you order. If you don’t like it, you
only pay for the shipping.
However, online shopping also has disavantages, there are many products to choose, it is easy
for you to become a shopaholic, so you must be careful when online shopping. Moreover,
people could be scammed easily by sellers, causing anger and discomfort to customers, but it
is not often like that.

Anyway, I always like online shopping and I believe that online shopping will continue to
improve and develop in the future.

Unit 9:Natural disaters

Earthquakes are one of the most destructive natural disasters, they are caused by the
movement of tectonic plates( các mảng kiến tạo) beneath the earth's surface, resulting in
powerful ground shaking.Let's learn about this disaster and explore how to stay safe during
such events.

Unlike other natural disasters, such as hurricanes or storms, earthquakes typically occur
without warning. Therefore, it's important to know what to do in the event of one.

There are a number of things you can do to stay safe during an earthquake.

If you are indoors, you must stay away from windows, glass, or anything that could fall.
Then, take cover by getting under a table or something hard and wait until the quake stops.
Don't run outside during the quake because you may get badly injured.

If you are outdoors during an earthquake, stay there, and move away from buildings and
street lights because they may fall upon you at any time. Avoid stopping near trees and
buildings.

Lastly, if you are trapped under debris, Don't keep shouting. Don't light a match or move
around, you may kick up dust. You should tap on a pipe or wall so rescuers can locate you

biện pháp phòng ngừa), we can minimize their impact and ensure our safety and well-being

many benefits, there are also some with each other online. While they drawbacks to consider.

One advantage of social network communication is the ability to connect with people from all
over the world. Whether it's friends, or family, social networks make it easy to stay in touch
and maintain relationships.

Additionally, social networks provide a platform for sharing ideas, interests, and experiences.
You can join groups and communities that align with your hobbies, allowing you to connect
with like-minded individuals. This can lead to new opportunities for learning, and personal
growth.
However, social network communication also has its disadvantage. Spending too much time
on social networks can negatively impact mental health, leading to feelings of loneliness, and
