Machine Code: M0909: Fuel Level Low
Information
Description:
A Code M0909 occurs when the Gateway Controller detects a low fuel level for 30 seconds. The
S650***EA Gateway Controller monitors the voltage of the Fuel Level sensor on wire 3180. The Gateway
Controller supplies 12 volts to the Fuel Level sensor on wire 3180. As the Fuel Level decreases, the
S/N: A3NW11665 resistance of the Fuel Level sensor increases.
Manual Identification Possible Cause:

Moisture, corrosion, or pushed back pins in the Gateway Controller connectors, Fuel Level

Service Codes If the code is intermittent and not on at the time of testing, the cause of the code may not be
found at this time. Probable causes may include: loose connections, corrosion, pushed back
