Dear Reader,
This portfolio contains my experience on the whole duration of our work
immersion. It shows the hardship, enjoyment, and enthusiasm towards my chosen path.
It also serves as my diary during this month-long experience of our Career Guidance. I
have learned many things that I believe I can use throughout the journey in the future. I
have learned that this path is not easy, but it is worth doing. I have encountered
different types of people who needs services and assistance; some are kind, some are
cool, but some are just rude. Well, that’s the reality. I have also met many inspiring
people in this field, and I wish to be as great as them in the near future.
To you who are reading this, I don’t know who you are, where you came from or
what your stories are, but I would like to tell you that life’s not a competition. If things get
hard, take it slowly. You might feel lost in this journey, but that’s okay. Anyone can lose
their way. All you need is the courage to walk the unfamiliar and daunting path again. If
you slow down for a moment and catch your breath, you can forever keep these
passing, movements in your heart. Just Keep Fighting!
Sincerely,
JACKIE LAUREN J. CALIPAYAN

OBSERVATION AND INSIGHTS
The training area in which I was assigned to do my 10 day’s work immersion is at
the Tagoloan Municipal Police Station. In terms of cleanliness, as what I’ve observed
the training area is very clean and organize you can clearly see that they are always
maintaining the cleanliness of the area. The Police there are really kind and
approachable they possess a unique characteristics which I admire. They are all
hardworking and passionate in terms of doing their task and duties. All I can see in their
eyes while doing their task in passion, hardwork and determination which are really
admired to each one of them. They always doing their job with effort and they always
provide a high quality of service that the people deserve because as we all know police
officers are the responsible for maintaining public safety, enforcing the law and
preventing, detecting and investigating criminal activities.
I was amazed by how those police at the police station do their despite of
problems they are encountering they remained strong passionate all the time. There
wasn’t that easy for the reason that its really risky. That’s why it is really important to
learn how to appreciate them for giving us high quality of service for always working
hard for sake of every people. We should be thankful to each one of them for being a
good role model to all of us.
OVERALL REFLECTION AND SELF APPRAISAL
My experienced at the Tagoloan Municipal Police Station is really one of a kind a
memorable experienced that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Working there is such
an amazing experienced because I have learned so much from all the people there.
They taught us of being hardworking, passionate, determined, wise and kind person.
Because of this training experience there’s a lot of positive changes happened to me.
One of it is being hardworking all the time. During my work immersion days I realized
and learned that this kind of work is not that easy for the reason that it requires a lot of
important things. Even though our work immersion only ten days the knowledge and
lessons I gain feels like a million years. I am so thankful to them because those things I
had learned makes me a person who is determined, hardworking and passionate.
This experience will be forever in my heart and mind those things I had learned
during our five days’ work immersion will be my strongest and powerful weapon in order
the achieve my goals in life. During that ten days, my perspective in life change in just
blink of an eye I was really inspired by how they performed their duties and
responsibilities with full of happiness and smile on their faces. The lessons and
knowledge I gain at our training area really contributes a variety of things to me,
because of it I was inspired to continue pursuing my dream profession in near future.
