Hi everyone!

This is my best effort at a walkthrough for Episode 0.8.1 of Karlsson's Gambit! I know
my game has quite a bit of branching and different choices/flags but I will try and keep
this as simple as possible! This is NOT my best style of writing but I will try my best to
be accurate and helpful!

Given the style of the game with conditional and branching choices, I will have to
branch/jump around at times so it may be tricky to follow at times!

My best advice is trying to use the scene names and color coding to follow along.

Underlined names are scenes: I will try to include a very brief description or opening
shot of each scene as I go along. If I jump to a new scene, I will try and underline a
new link to the next scene so you can "jump" click directly to your spot/scene.

BLACK text scenes are generally seen by all players.

BLUE text generally means most choices/scenes in the DOM PATH. This
generally applies to players at K5 rank or above. You will likely already
know your general path at this point, but hopefully this helps you out!

GREEN text generally covers only players that are normally on the dom
path, but have established a secret sub relationship with Alessandra
Karlsson. Keep in mind as of now she is the main relationship, but there
are more females getting involved down the road so this path will spread a
bit more down the road.

PURPLE text generally is for players on the normal submissive paths,

which are ranks K1 (provisional) through K4. This is not designed for
secret subs, and all relevant sub paths will be in this color where possible.

RED text generally refers to what I (as the dev) consider MAJOR choices
meaning they have great impact beyond Episode 8 versus alternative kink
scenes or something a little simpler. A few are big decisions in terms of
opening future paths, and it could even impact final ending paths.

I will also not literally type out an entire dialogue line but kind of paraphrase
as best as I can the beginning and ending of the overall dialogue/choice in
a way that hopefully makes sense.

I will also note that points earned in Episode 8, Part 1 do carry over to Parts
2 and 3 will ultimately be tallied up at the end for the final results for Dom
and Sub Kane and it will impact the K ranking a LOT.

Notes on rank:

After Part 3 concludes, there will likely be (I am not 100% set yet, but these
are the likely scenarios) the following ranks possible. It's best to think of
these in a general band versus one single rank.

This is the overall general rank system for ALL Karlsson staff/employees in
a sense from highest to lowest:

Z Ranks: Z1 to Z4 → (Senior Executive Level, very rare)

Z4 - Board members (7 current members)

Z3 - Olivia's current rank
Z2 - Doctor Chastain is an example
Z1 - Katsumi is an example
M Ranks: M1 to M5 (Managerial level, a very rare and powerful rank that is
highly prized by staff as a dream.)

S Ranks: S1 to S10 (Staff level, still highly valued because staff are paid,
free, and can generally try and live somewhat normally but with the
constant danger of risking the wrath of very high ranked Karlsson
employees) An example of two high ranking staff are: Raven and Sonya
are both S10 employees, and S10s are quite valuable to the company even
if not formally managers.

K ranks: K1 to K10 (the main bulk of the program ranks, these ranks are
also used more commonly for servants/slaves that do not have freedom to
work/live a certain way. One minor lore mention is that certain tasks like
mining - which have no way to change your fate - are classified as K1s but
not quite the same as a K1 in Kane's situation so miners may sometimes
be referred to as KS1.

Game related ranks by general path:

True K1 rank: This is the lowest rank possible after Episode 8, Part 3. I
won't spoil the specifics, but it's safe to say it would be wise to make a save
right before you get this rank as it's kind of a "dead" end if it goes a certain
way. Keep in mind, as always, I will always try to make sure the player
does not see extreme content without a warning/active choice involved. So
generally, a player will ultimately choose K1 status for Kane (note I did not
say Kane would choose, but a player choice, so logically think perhaps
Olivia's point of view or something, etc.)

I am also toying with a very specific idea of giving the OPTION to allow a
K1 scene to play out with only Kane's or Olivia's POV or both so feedback
on this is appreciated!

Ranks K2-K3: While there will be slightly different scenes here and there
later, these two ranks are kind of similar in that they are considered fairly
pathetic by the elite/powerful but they also will not be subject to the K1
status/dangers unique to that rank.

Ranks K4 - K5: It will be possible for a true sub to hit rank K5 after Part 3.
It will be different from K4 with some scenes in Episode 9, but in the grand
scheme of overall status, K5 as a sub will not be as meaningful as K6.
(see below)

Rank K6: It is currently my plan to make a true sub possible to hit K6 with
stellar performance. This rank will be distinct from K4-K5 and will also
require a specific task/faction being met (Parts 2-3 will have more on this,
but Part 1 has one example I will discuss later in the walkthrough) as a high
ranking female must personally vouch for Kane to get this status at the end
of Part 3. Long term after Episode 8, it will be possible for a true sub Kane
to go beyond K6 but for now, K6 is the highest rank possible for a sub Kane
at the end of Part 3.

For the secret sub path, the current status of Kane is that he is a K7 as a
secret sub. This path will mirror the dom path point system in that those
points will also determine the possibilities for Kane's ranks. It will just be
scaled differently than the dom path. But Episode 8, Part 1, the secret
sub/dom paths do not really have points yet, but Part 2 will have a
LOT. (I focused more on the sub path for points in this part because of how
they are already in the maze, but dom Kane is not yet at the formal part of
things.) Expect a lot of point allocation for dom/secret sub Kane in Part 2.

Ranks: It is my intent that by the end of Episode 8, Part 3 that Kane can
still be at K7. However, it will also be possible for him to be downgraded to
K5 or upgraded to K10 at its highest. Long-term, Kane can move beyond
K10, but getting there will require specific females at a certain level of trust
or other factor with him. (not necessarily only Alessandra)

The dom path will generally have more variation on rank outcomes by the
end of Part 3, but for this side, it's really whether Kane remains stuck on the
K path in general (K5 to K10), or he hits the manager or executive track
level.

For dom Kane, there are three main variables to rank at the end of Part 3.

K ranks: (He has not achieved managerial level)

M rank: He gets promoted to the M ranks normally.

Z rank: Kane will NOT get to Z1 by Part 3, but in Episode 9 it will be

possible if he hits a key flag within the M rank outcome. If on this track,
Episode 9 is really when Kane will finally kind of "break free" from a lot of
oversight and the narrative will shift a bit more to Kane actively
planning/being more proactive versus reactive. There will also be less
female/male pair scenes if desired (meaning Kane is the highest ranking
person in the scene, not always with say Olivia or a Board member for a lot
of scenes) as well. This long-term planning is by design because he did
not start off as strongly as Olivia and had to bide his time patiently, etc. I
feel the game is much more realistic if Kane had to work his way up so to
speak versus just fucking every female right away, etc. So think of this
unique situation as Kane being told he is now M rank, but on a special fast
track for executive training. He will in this status be treated differently than
a "normal" M ranked Kane at the end of Part 3.

Note that Part 1 does not really have any critical points/decisions here but
Part 2 will have a LOT. I focused a bit more on the sub path points for Part
1 because the guys are already in the maze before the boat/VIPs are
arriving which is more the dom points side.

I will be kind of following the code itself in writing this, so things may jump
around. But you can click the underlined scene names to move around to
find your next scene.
I will use default names for this walkthrough but note you may have
customized some names. If so, these are their default names:

Protagonist: Kane

Female Secondary Protagonist: Olivia

Kane's brother: Seth

Kane's friend: Jake

All other names are set but these four could be customized.

Another note: I have a lot of alternative dialogue based on prior choices but
many do not involve impactful choices so I will likely not cover all of these
differences. One example might be on the dom path – if you chose the
sweet or evil assistant (Mia or Desdemona) your dialogue will have some
clear differences but they don't lead to massive choices either so I won't
cover all of these distinctions.

 EPISODE 8, PART 1 SCENES

The first few scenes have no choices, but the last moment before a split is
Elena speaking to Callista on the bridge. After that scene ends, the game
will split to new scenes depending on your prior choices.

If Kane is ranked k1pro, k2, k3, or k4 (true sub ranks):

scene will jump to: submazestart

If Kane has a rank of K9 from prior choices:

scene will jump to: e8k9start

If Kane is ranked secret sub or any other dom ranks:

scene jumps to: e8kdomstart

e8k9start: Kane and Taylor are at his place with the new domestic
servant, Svetlana.

females will be used for a future scene with Kane. Keep in mind it's VERY
likely 2 or more females could be in a scene too so you want to think about
not just your first choice but also which ones you like/dislike on an overall
scale as you play the game over multiple episodes.

Ok, this is a big split fork here. Basically, there are four possible splits
depending on prior choices and if you received a certain choice flag from a
decision in an earlier episode. They are as follows checking in this order in
the code:

1) If the player has a rank of subk7 (this is the current rank of the secret
sub path) then the game will jump to secretbath

2) If the player has a flag of demon (it is a very evil dominant Kane flag
with Kane in prior choices being evil – see prior walkthrough for chances to
get this flag), then the scene will jump to julieevilfun

3) If the player has the choice flag revolutionunlock (if you have romanced
Junko, been a good instead of evil Kane, and spoke with Otto at night,
there is a good chance you have this flag) scene jumps to junkoplay

4) If the player has none of these flags, game will jump to eightmorn

secretbath: Kane meets Alessandra in his bathroom (the mirror)

"There's no way I should tempt pissing her off..stop masturbating…"

(this rating is also from prior episodes and this
is more for players interested in a secret sub romance path
versus the opposite style of relationship which would be
pet/more degrading and rough)

points, then Alessandra will reject his request and pick the
spanking punishment.

Just like most times, if Kane refuses to be evil around Juliette and
he had a sponsorship with Juliette, then he will lose it.
Note: He does NOT lose the demon flag

junkoplay: Junko meets Kane, and then they meet Otto.

Note that this path is just a setup for Part 2.

There are no meaningful choices but this set up
is necessary for critical scenes in Part 2 on the
revolutionunlock path

eightmorn: This is just a scene with Doctor Chastain, Alessandra, and
Dominique Karlsson. No relevant choices, but set up for narrative.

Special note: If a player has the flag domcollectcum (this flag exists if
Kane received a handjob from Dominique on her boat after jet skiing on the
water with Alessandra/Dominique) then the Doctor will mention something
about Kane's cum. (I normally won't mention alternative dialogue but this
one is kind of a little more relevant)

scene will lead to dommornfork

submazestart: Zach, Jake, and Kane are walking in the maze at night.

A few notes for sub path:

sgame are the main game points that relate to RANK outcomes.
K1s will have the lowest points, and K5+ will have the most.
Meaning the more spts you get generally the higher rank you will get
over time, unless Olivia possibly tweaks it a bit.
These points WILL carry over to Parts 2 and 3 so they are important.
On a more macro level higher ranks are generally long-term better
treatment (more gentle femdom/more trusted work later) versus
low ranks being more treated like garbage, rougher scenes, etc.

Kane, Jake, and Zach also will have two primary stats from Part 1 that will
also carry over to future scenes.
Kane → kstr (Kane strength)
kdex (Kane dexterity)

Jake → jakestr (Jake strength)

jakedex (Jake dexterity)

Zach →zachdex (Zach dexterity)

zachstr (Zach strength)
 Generally, higher strength and dexterity for any particular character
may lead to a higher chance to get more sgame points but not always
as sometimes things are only choice based. But at other times, not
having enough strength or dexterity may cause Kane or one of the
others to "fail" a more physically based test and not get sgame points.

So basically → lower str/dex = higher chance to get low ranks

→ higher str/dex = higher chance to get higher ranks

Campfire eating choices:

First, Jake and Zach will choose to eat all food/drink

This has the following effect for those two:

Jake: jakestr + 1 and jakedex - 2

Zach: zachstr + 1 and zachdex - 2

Kane choices:

If Kane eats the apple or both foods, he will suffer stomach pain and
get alternative dialogue after they rest a bit. (the apple causes ache)

"I'll just eat everything like Jake and Zach…least…together…"

kstr + 1
kdex - 2

"Maybe…just eat one of foods…apple seems the safer bet…"

kdex - 2

"Maybe just eating one of the foods…the plain cereal…"

kstr + 1 (best choice for avoiding dex loss and getting str)
(no stomach ache, alternative dialogue)
 "I don't trust eating anything…I'll pass on eating for now."
kstr - 2 (very bad choice to lose two strength)

Jake friend impact: (no choice, based on prior episode choices)

If Jake's friend rating is 1 or less (friend <= 1)

then Jake will refuse to sleep out of the tent
this causes the following: jakedex + 1

If Jake's friend rating is 2 or more, then he will offer to sleep

outside the tent instead of you. So Kane will get to rest a bit
in the tent (only 2 tents for 3 people)
This results in: kdex + 1

The scene will have them rest but then wake up with 1 of 2 scenarios -
Kane has a stomachache with the guys or just Jake/Zach do…

scene leads to lickytwo

lickytwo: Delilah, Scarlett, and Chanel have fun with the guys at camp.

1) Note: This is SCARLETT'S choice on Jake as he licks under her.

"Nah…fuck doing that to Jake…I'll just keep my ass on his face…"

No impact

"Fuck it…I'm going to fart in his face."

jakedex - 1

2) Delilah scene: Either choice here is just for which kink scene, no impact.
"I'll keep it simple by trampling on his chest…"
"I want to be a little rougher on Kane…"

threethree: The three guys have to choose which piss to drink of three
ladies.

1) Zach asks Kane for help choosing which piss to drink.

"I'll tell Zach to drink Chanel's piss."

"Maybe it's best to tell him not to drink any piss at all…"

2) If Jake has a rating of friend of 3 or higher, he speaks to Kane about

the piss too. If he does NOT, he refuses to drink any piss so no impact.

If he asks, choices below:

"I'll tell him to drink Delilah's piss."

No impact

"I'll tell him to drink Scarlett's piss…"

"Maybe it's best to tell him not to drink either of the girls' piss…"

Note here that Jake can't really suffer from the piss like Zach and
Kane can by choice…just luck of the draw this time.

Last, Kane.
3) Kane's piss choices:

"....I'll pick Delilah…"

"...I'll select Scarlett…"

"I don't want to take the risk of drinking any bad piss…"

scene will end soon afterwards, and lead to a scene with Dominique,
Doctor Chastain, and Alessandra.

that scene has no choices and will then lead to a new scene - subshow

subshow: The crew wakes up to Samantha at their camp.

Minor Note: Kane will either wake up in a tent or outside based on

whether Jake volunteered to sleep outside or not.

Katsumi will appear on screen for a bit and then Sam will play with
Kane while the other two clean her vehicle.

During this scene, if Kane achieved the flag noratsam (this was
earned a few episodes ago if Kane did NOT rat out Samantha to
Delilah when he had a chance after Sam played with his chastity
cage) then Samantha will give Kane a tip/advice.
This same noratsam flag will be used again in Part 2

If no flag from this choice, then Sam will tell him nothing.
 This scene will lead to xoffice

dommornfork: Kane wakes up to Alessandra/Dominique in his room.

There is alternate dialogue by Alessandra in a few different ways.

The context will be obvious based on prior choices if Kane is either
a secret sub or helped cuck Thad Howardson with Celeste and
Alessandra

"I'll pick Chloe to be in charge of the group for…gameshow…"

Chloe will be the game show boss of four girls in Parts 2-3.

"I'll pick Angelica to be in charge of the pod…"

Note about this flag, it has multiple possible effects:
1) Main flag is Katsumi becoming Olivia's sex slave.
2) If Dom Kane is involved with Olivia, it can also
impact a long-term slave/harem situation for him too.
3) If sub Kane serves Olivia, could impact having Kat as a
lower ranked Mistress that can use him, etc.
4) Higher points makes it more likely Kat accepts this role.
"I'll give her a jolt of pain to set a strong tone with her."
katsisslave + 2 (see discussion right above on this flag)

"I won't use the shock chip on her at all…"

I get a lot of questions on this flag, so will explain a bit.
It means how submissive Olivia is inside…

If a player is expecting Olivia to go all the way to K1 and

be killed like an ordinary slave, that is not likely.
However, if someone is imagining an Olivia that serves a
a very strong Kane submissively, then yes, that is possible.
(but be patient) Hope this helps!

Rest of choices not relevant. If Olivia turns down Kat serving her or
not, the same scene jumps occur, just no lesbian kink scene for
saying no.

Sub players from this scene will jump to firetime scene

Dom/secret sub path will have two options:

1) If Kane has the gameshowhost flag (agreed with Katsumi to

help game show) then scene jumps to domshoweight

2) If he didn't agree, scene jumps to domlabeight

firetime: Olivia and Katsumi meet Charlotte/Angelica at a firing

range.

"I'll tell Katsumi and Charlotte…all can be in mortal danger

I even forgot this flag in the first version of 0.8.1, but to be sure, I will
be adding it later in Episode 11 to anyone who is below a certain
broastridtrust point level.

Related to prior flag, this stat/point could be very critical to a specific
path/ending at the very end of Karlsson's Gambit. Min maxxing the
points is suggested as a backup save path.

The only hint I would give is that not having sex might impact how
much time Astrid spends on one type of data collection versus
another thing unrelated to their health condition.
(she collects a lot of data from this scene)

Part 2 will be mostly game show only. There will be some side narrative
scenes of characters not involved in the show too. Expect dom Kane to
have a lot of points to gain/lose like sub Kane did in Part 1 since the boats
will arrive and all VIPs are nearby now. Expect sub Kane to encounter
different VIPs depending on some choices and how he performs.
