11. The formwork placement should be proper to with-stand pumping pressure. Any loss of material,
injuries to persons due to de-shuttering would be to your account.
12. It’s the Customer’s responsibility to provide good approach/service roads inside the project for plying
the vehicles.
QUALITY TERMS:
13. The normal slump for the pumped concrete will be maintained at 125 ± 25 mm. Any change in
requirement of workability will be as per pre-agreed terms.
14. Cube strengths are checked at our laboratory as per relevant IS standards and test certificates will be
issued by our Quality Assurance Department. Test Reports submitted by the customers at site will not
be considered, as we have no influence on the Customers curing procecures at the Site.
15. The Customer shall bear the cost of any third party tests done for the RMC due to their internal policy
if any.
16. Test procedures for the concrete supplied and acceptance criteria shall be as per relevant IS
standards.
17. We do not accept cube test results from any other laboratory if the sampling, casting and curing is
not carried out by us jointly. Such third party tests shall be considered valid only if the samples are
signed by us and testing machine is properly calibrated and we witness such testing.
18. The timely curing of the concrete is the responsibility of the customer and we recommend to cover
the freshly laid concrete surface without any delay, as rapid and excessive loss of water might result
in plastic shrinkage cracking of concrete surface. Only good care while compacting and finishing can
take care to control plastic shrinkage cracking.
19. The Company is no way responsible for any plastic shrinkage or settlement cracks, drying shrinkage
cracks and restraining cracks nor shall entertain any claim for repair, as these occur due to improper
handling of concrete during casting of structures and lack of crack control mechanisms like
contraction joints, additional reinforcement, early curing etc. in application which is beyond our
scope.
20. Stripping time: In normal circumstances, where ambient temperature does not fall below 15 0 C and
ordinary Portland cement is used and adequate curing has done, minimum period before striking
vertical form work for columns, walls and beams is 16-24 hours.
21. Workability: Idle dosage rates of admixture vary from 0.4 % to 1.5% by weight of cementitious
materials. Considering the challenges at site, all admixtures can be used for re-dosing on unavoidable
circumstances. Depending upon the slump required and time elapsed for concrete premixed with
22. admixtures, an additional dose of (say up to 0.5 %) by weight of cementitious materials may be added
23. To regain workability loss and compensate water loss in the mixes. This may not affect the ultimate
strengths of concrete.
24. Placing of concrete: Maximum permissible free fall of concrete to avoid segregation may be taken
as 1.5 m. dropping of concrete from heights as in the case of placing concrete in columns and walls
will result in segregation and honeycombing.
OTHER TERMS:
25. The customer shall ensure an authorized person to receive and acknowledge receipt of concrete.
26. If the payment is delayed beyond the credit period, interest @ 18% per annum will be charged from
the date of supply.

by the purchaser and at the specified location of site.
Our scope of work does not include 'Spreading, Vibrating, Levelling, Finishing, curing' of concrete, these shall
be performed by the purchaser only.
Mix Designs:
Mix design is referring to IS 456-2000, IS 383-2016, IS 10262-2019, etc., and done by considering the
properties of materials available during the designing time and as per the specifications
Interblending of all aggregate proportions to arrive the best possible homogeneous mix shall be in our scope.
Admixture dosage adjustment shall be in our scope to produce the required workability as per site
requirements.
Purchaser can inform well in advance, if any customized concrete product aiming for special properties is
required
Workability:
The Slump value at site may be within the limits of specified slump ±25 mm as per IS 456-2000 and it is to be
accepted.
The flow value at site for SCC is minimum 600 mm as per IS 456-2000.
If higher flow value is required at site based on the structural requirements, then it should be agreed by both
(supplier and purchaser) mutually. Multiple times of slump or flow (whichever is applicable) check at site is
not acceptable, after the vehicle is deployed for unloading.
Casting of Cubes:
The sampling may be carried out jointly by the supplier and the purchaser. The minimum quantity
requirement is of 30 m³ to cast the cubes at site.
As per the standard procedure, one set of cubes (Six) to be casted for every 100 m³. Each Three cube
specimens shall be kept for 7 and 28 days test.
If any additional frequency is required than stated above, then it should be mutually agreed upon by the
supplier and the purchaser.
Surface Defects:
Aparna shall not be held responsible for any imperfections in concrete like 'Shrinkage cracks, Settlement
cracks, Honeycombs, Surface peel off, Pot holes, Surface voids etc., due to delayed and improper curing, poor

site.
Strength:
The concrete manufactured at our plant shall be subjected to regular testings at our fully equippedlaboratory
at plant to ascertain the strength of the concrete on 7th day and 28th day as per the requirementsof IS 456 -
2000& IS 516-2021 of part 1
Prior information of at least 1 day is mandatory from the purchaser before the scheduled test date of 7 and
28 days, in case the purchaser wants to
wittness the test. Else the testings will be progressed as per the scheduled dates.
The minimum strength required for 7 days is of 60% and for 28 days is of 100% for the respective grades as
per IS 456-2000.
The obtained compressive strength of the cubes tested at our plant shall be the final & has to bind on the
both parties (Supplier & Purchaser)
In all cases, the 28 days compressive strengths specified in Table2 shall alone be the criterion for judging the
concrete supplied.
Stripping Period:
The stripping period shall be followed as described in IS 456 2000
Description with OPC OPC Includes with Flyash or Slag
for Vertical form work (Columns/ 16 - 24 16 - 24 Hours (Preferably 24 hours)
