NARRATOR: Ichabod is talking to his students (Ichabod is on the right and the students are on
the left)

ICHABOD: It’s time for you to go home.

A BOY: (jumping) Maybe the ghost is going to follow us!

ICHABOD: (Nodding) No, you’re OK (annoyed). Go home now before it’s dark.

A GIRL: (excited) Please, come to my house today, Mr. Crane. You can have dinner with us
and tell us more ghost stories.

ICHABOD: (sad) I can’t come today. The singing lesson begins soon.
