How to make spaghetti

Italian cuisine is famous for many delicious dishes with vibrant colors. Actually, preparation is not
so complicated like the variety of colors of them. Spaghetti is one of the delicious Italian pastas that can
serve as a side dish in family reunion. It may be the fastest dish to do, but it can also be the most difficult
if we don't know how to do it correctly. Indeed, it's easy to cook this dish if we follow these steps:
cooking pasta, preparing marinara sauce and serving pasta.

First of all, fill a large pot with cold water. We can add a little salt or add a tablespoon of cooking
oil to the water to keep spaghetti from sticking together. When the water boils, we put spaghetti in the
pot. After that, we should reduce the heat a little and not cover until the pasta is firm and tough. The
pasta will have a hard core if it has been undercooked, but it will be sticky and soggy if overcooked.
When we make sure the pasta is perfectly cooked, drain it in a basket and shake it to remove excess
water; otherwise, it will make the sauce flow. Do not wash the pasta because it will removes the light
coating of starch that helps the sauce and spices stay.

As a second step, we will make marinara sauce quickly and easily with these simple steps. First,
we make tomato sauce. Chop some tomatoes. Then, put tomatoes in a hot pan with a little oil and some
chopped onions. . Second, we will chop 1 big onion, 1 medium carrot and 1 celery stalk. Take a large pot,
add 2 tablespoons of hot oil and 3 minced garlic cloves. Then add onion, carrot and celery to the pot,
cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until every thing is very soft. Besides, We must stir
occasionally. Third, we give tomato sauce that we just made into the cooking mixture and add 1 cup of
water, 1 cup of dry red wine, 3 tablespoons of fresh parsley (flat leaf), 2 tablespoons of fresh basil , 1
tablespoon dried Italian seasoning, 2 to 3 teaspoons sugar, 3 bay leaves, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4
teaspoon of black pepper. Boil the sauce and then reduce the temperature. Finally, we should simmer
and uncover. Remember to occasionally stir the sauce. We cook the sauce for about 45 minutes. After
that, marinara sauce is finished.

Finally, we will prepare spaghetti serving. First, transfer the pasta to the sauce and add the
pasta water. Pasta water not only helps to dilute the sauce but also helps the sauce stick to the pasta
better. After that, add some pure olive oil or a little butter to make the pasta sauce more delicious.
When cooked pasta, hot sauce, pasta water and added fat are all in the pan, we start boiling it. They
should be cooked at high temperature. Next, we cook, stir and toss pasta continuously, then add more
pasta water if needed until it has a perfect texture. Later, we remove the pan from the stove, and then
add any cheese or chopped herbs that we have . Last, transfer the cooked noodles to plates. Then add
the final decorations depending on our preferences. Pasta will continue to be softened. Therefore, when
the noodles have been put in the sauce, we should serve it immediately.

In short, it is not difficult to get a plate of spaghetti with marinara sauce. We just need to
remember the three steps to make this dish: cooking pasta, preparing the sauce and serving pasta.
Following these steps, we were able to bring this Italian food into our family's meal. This dish is both
interesting and easy to do. Therefore, we should serve it at meals or parties
