THE PROPONENT

ELLE JEAN B. GALBO

I was born on March 9, 1996. I live in Cagayan De Oro City. I am the First Child of Elmer L.
Galbo and Jeannie B. Galbo. Graduated at Xavier University Cagayan De Oro City Campus,
BS Entrepreneurship. Currently owns the biggest Bike Shop all over the Philippines and
winning in the game called “life”.

THE ADVISER

She graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant


Management at J.H. Cerilles State College-Canuto MS Enerio Campus in the year
2016. Her 2nd course is Professional Education Course which she earned a License
Professional Teacher Major in Social Science at JHCSC Dumingag Campus.

OVERVIEW OF THE BACKGROUND

The Ride Free Bike Shop is Located at Libertad Cagayan De Oro City and some places
at Cagayan but it has also extensions in different part of the Country. Offers great
experiences and good services. Worth to visit and worth the time.

My Shop are better than the others because of the good services and worth it to shop. It has
noble visuals and not regrettable to shop.
I named this Shop as Bike Free Bike Shop because of my love in cycling. For me Cycling is
something important and valuable, for me riding a bike makes me feel alive and free, the
wind brushing through my hair, face and skin is something else that is irreplaceable.

BUSINESS PLAN

THE NEEDS
THE CAPITAL

This Business requires a sum of 2Million to cover all the expenses and all the materials,
bicycles, parts, and others for upgrades. This capital will be sourced from loans and
connections through my business woman/man relatives.

THE LOCATION

The good location of this business is at Libertad Cagayan De Oro City where has a big
population and known for cyclists
.
BICYCLES AND PARTS

The materials/equipment to be used in a bike shop needs essential tools such as a bike
repair stand, hex and Allen wrenches, torque wrench, screwdrivers, chain breaker, pedal
wrench, and tire levers for repairs and maintenance. An air compressor, lubricants,
degreasers, and bearing tools ensure smooth operation.

For sales, a POS system, cash register, barcode scanner, shelving, and security system
are important. The shop should stock frames, chains, cassettes, brakes, tires, handlebars,
saddles, and safety gear like helmets and locks.

Cleaning supplies, including a bike wash kit, microfiber cloths, grease, and thread locker,
help maintain bikes. With these, the shop can efficiently serve customers and keep bikes in
top condition.

.THE MAN POWER


Initially, Ride Free Bike Shop needs a shop manager to oversee operations, a bike
mechanic for repairs, and a sales associate to assist customers. A cashier handles
transactions, while a stock clerk manages inventory. A marketing staff promotes the shop,
and if needed, a delivery personnel handles orders. A small shop can run efficiently with
three to five staff members.
THE LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
To operate legally, Ride Free Bike Shop must complete several requirements. The
business must be registered with the DTI for sole proprietorship or the SEC for corporations
and partnerships. A mayor’s permit from the local government and BIR registration for tax
compliance are essential. The shop also needs a barangay clearance, along with fire safety
and sanitary permits to meet safety and health regulations. If hiring employees, registration
with SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG is required for benefits. Additionally, securing a DTI or
IPO trademark registration can help protect the brand. These steps ensure smooth and legal
