Does this mean that if they are knocked down another survivor MUST encourage

unless they are in the monster's blind spot or the monster's line of sight is

A: The FAQ entry is an obsolete one from an earlier version of the game. The Giant
Stone Face terrain has an explicit rule that "monsters may always draw a line of sight to

always in the monster's field of view, unless they are standing in the monster's blind

Q: Are milestones considered events? Are they once per lifetime? The Milestone
section in the rulebook never mentions milestones are once per lifetime. Some
events that are triggered upon reaching a Milestone clarify that the specific event
itself is once per lifetime.
A: A milestone is a set of circumstances that can be fulfilled (e.g.- having 16 Hunt XP,
having 8 weapon proficiency levels, having 10 Death Count, etc.). Milestones are not
events. At baseline, milestones do not have rules associated with them. However, events
may occur when specific milestones are reached. These events occur at the moment the
specific milestone is reached. These events are generally known as Milestone Events
(e.g.- Hooded Knight is a Milestone Story Event that occurs when a settlement has 5
innovations. If Hooded Knight is not an available Story Event within your campaign,
nothing happens when your settlement reaches 5 innovations). Reaching certain
milestones may also cause certain rules to apply. In these instances, the additional rules
are only applicable while the milestone has been reached unless otherwise stated (e.g.- A: No.
