Materials

● Size 3/DK/light worsted weight yarn in 3


colors (white, green and red) Abbreviations - US terms:
● 4 mm crochet hook ch: chain
● Scissors sc: single crochet
● Yarn needle hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
Gauge is not relevant in this pattern as you can
adjust the final size depending on your yarn and
needs.

Notes:
● ch3 at the beginning of each row counts as the first stitch.
● The coaster measures 4.5" and the placemat measures 11.5”
● The diagram is a guide for the coaster but you can use the border (rounds 4 to 6) for any circle
where the total number of stitches is a multiple of 12.
